I should be careful with my comments, since it is - indeed - a wonderful place to stay. However, there are some minor setbacks. The borgo is located 'off the beaten track' up on a hill linked to the small village of Pogi via a narrow rocky road, about 2km long. Do not take your Ferrari to the place. It... More

My wife and I stayed here 12 years ago, along with 4 other couples. It is well located in the Tuscany Region, reached by driving over a Roman bridge. Quaint, nice and hospitable. If you go, check into eating at the facility. When we went this was available Wednesdays and Saturdays. They make their own wine and olive oil. Also... More

My family stayed at Borgo Iesolana for 6 days in early June. We would sum it up in a word-memorable. The Setting is unrivaled as the Tuscan hillside surrounding the beautiful grounds is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 pools every day. The overall service was consistently superior, and the food was marvelous. Our apartment, Lecci, was clean, spacious and... More

This was just perfect for our trip. There were five of us of different ages and tastes and we managed to find the perfect spot to suit us all. The "youngsters" were happy to chill out by the pool while the more mature of us used it as a base to do a bit of exploring......very well situated for trips... More

I have travelled all over Europe and I love Italy. Having recently spent a family holiday at Borgo Iesolana I am enthralled by the beauty of the location- it was peaceful with splendid views especially as the sun set over the hills of Chianti- viewed best from the excellent restaurant which its location on top of a hill ensures. The... More

We've just returned from a stay at Borgo Ieosolana with the family for a week. It was booked through a third party booking agent as advertised as a 'rural retreat'... And that it was. Set on the tranquil hillside above the village of Bucine, this place was a little slice of heaven. The self catering apartments were beautifully appointed and... More

I can only echo other reviewer's feedback on Borgo Iesolana - a perfectly groomed, comfortable, estate, wonderfully restored buildings, and friendly staff. It is off the beaten track but all the better for that - where else can you relax by one of two beautiful swimming pools looking out over rolling Tuscan countryside, with only a hare and the occasional... Just returned from a relaxing week at Iesolana. Superbly furnished self catering appartments, with the ability to eat in the restaurant and have breakfast there if you wish. Very friendly staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere but of the highest quality. Tucked away in the surrounding hills in a peacefull location with stuniing views all around - ive put a few pictures... After negotiating a very bumpy track, and annoying traffic lights you arrive at a haven on a hill. The estate is immaculate reflecting the owners very high standards. We stayed in Loggiato, and were initially disappointed as even after extensive research,I hadn't worked out our apartment would be upstairs with no immediate outside access to our private patio. Our patio although relatively private was... I have nothing but positive feedback regarding our stay. It's a stunning place in a stunning location amongst the olive groves, the vineyards and the rolling hills, the grounds are immaculate, the pool areas are fab and very clean and modern, we particularly liked having our own cabana which is something ive never experienced elsewhere in Tuscany, so no rushing...
