We just returned from an enjoyable family getaway to Tuscany and this was a key ingredient. Borgo Iesolana has helpful staff, beautiful views, good food and a family friendly environment. It was one of those nice boutique resort experiences where you enjoyed the local wine and food with the owners also eating dinner and watching the sunset a few tables... More

This facility's staff was fantastic. Everyone made our family feel right at home. The Tuscan countryside is stunning and we had such a relaxing time I can't wait to go back. Food was incredible and wine, honey and olive oil to send home.

What a lovely place! We have visited twice and will certainly return. The Borgo is superb for chilling out and having a wonderfully carefree holiday. Away from the hustle and bustle up a white road, nestling among trees and olives, the vista opens up as you approach the stunning buildings of the ancient Borgo. The two swimming pools, each with... It was very hard to put a rating for the Borgo Iesolana. I should be 5 stars, but our experience was so spoilt by horseflies that I wanted to go with 3 - in the end I have settled on 4 stars. the good bits: - it is perfectly located to visit the area - Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Pieza, San... More

I should be careful with my comments, since it is - indeed - a wonderful place to stay. However, there are some minor setbacks. The borgo is located 'off the beaten track' up on a hill linked to the small village of Pogi via a narrow rocky road, about 2km long. Do not take your Ferrari to the place. It... More

My wife and I stayed here 12 years ago, along with 4 other couples. It is well located in the Tuscany Region, reached by driving over a Roman bridge. Quaint, nice and hospitable. If you go, check into eating at the facility. When we went this was available Wednesdays and Saturdays. They make their own wine and olive oil. Also... More

My family stayed at Borgo Iesolana for 6 days in early June. We would sum it up in a word-memorable. The Setting is unrivaled as the Tuscan hillside surrounding the beautiful grounds is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 pools every day. The overall service was consistently superior, and the food was marvelous. Our apartment, Lecci, was clean, spacious and... More

This was just perfect for our trip. There were five of us of different ages and tastes and we managed to find the perfect spot to suit us all. The "youngsters" were happy to chill out by the pool while the more mature of us used it as a base to do a bit of exploring......very well situated for trips... More

I have travelled all over Europe and I love Italy. Having recently spent a family holiday at Borgo Iesolana I am enthralled by the beauty of the location- it was peaceful with splendid views especially as the sun set over the hills of Chianti- viewed best from the excellent restaurant which its location on top of a hill ensures. The... More

We've just returned from a stay at Borgo Ieosolana with the family for a week. It was booked through a third party booking agent as advertised as a 'rural retreat'... And that it was. Set on the tranquil hillside above the village of Bucine, this place was a little slice of heaven. The self catering apartments were beautifully appointed and... More
