After almost 25 years--when the Paggeria (meaning the "(court) pages' quarters) had just been turned into a 4-star hotel--I wanted to at least spend one night there. It was well worth it, especially in view of the totally redecorated rooms (including an antique painting over the bed ...), the large swimming pool in a beautifully landscaped garden, and--of course--the private... We attended a wedding here last week and it was the most beautiful location! This could not have been a more perfect venue! The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and the apartments were perfect for our needs. I will say that the restaurant staff wasn't the friendliest and were very slow. Also, one of the men at breakfast was incredibly... More

We visited Artimino in June 2012 (not the July 2013 stated). The location of the hotel gives absolutely stunning views across the Tuscan landscape. The quietness of the location provides you with a very relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the major cities. Throughout our stay we found the staff to be exceptionally warm and friendly and... More

Five years since our last visit to Artimino, yet as we walked into Reception Marco greeted us and recognised us as if it were only a week ago! Thank you to all the wonderful, courteous staff - the majority of whom were all working at this lovely hotel on our last visit. A special thanks for the warmth and care... More

Something that was suppose to be only a one day stop on our trip turned out to take the rest of our week. Every morning we were hesitating to move towards north part of Italy and instead were asking for the availability of the room for the next night... finally spending here three nights instead of one. Hotel is located... More

We spent almost two weeks in Artimino, enjoying ourselves to the fullest, just mentoning, the hotel resturants fried prawns were amazing.!!! (Had them several times) Drinking lots of delicious red wine, trying out both local and general tuscan red and white wine! Probably gained a few kilos during the stay, but absolutely worth it! Lovely rooms, and the service was... More

Wonderful quality accommodation in a stunning setting - classic time warp with mod cons. Love this whole resort and have been going back occasionally for 8 years. Romantic, but also great for quiet families.

This hotel is located in the most beautiful peaceful Tuscan countryside, has the most fantastic staff, good food a great place to relax & that my wife & I did until the night before we were due to fly home (6:00AM early start). For some strange reason the hotel decided to stage what can only be described as an Ibiza... More

Dear Sir, thank you for your report about Artimino! We are very sorry for the event that was organised at the Restaurant Biagio Pignatta. The back of the Restaurant was rented by a private company for a special event, and we were very surprised as well to hear that music. Not particularly loud but noisy for this place. Regarding the...
