We initially planned to stay here 2 nights on our tour through sardinia, but ended up staying 3, because we loved carloforte and loved the hotel. We got a great deal on the room and were upgraded to a superior room with balcony and view over the port. Lovely 4 post bed, big and well kitted out bathroom, and beautiful... More

This hotel is located at the dock in Carloforte which means you walk the very short distance from the ferry to hotel. The hotel can arrange transport from the airport and I would recommend looking carefully into this to avoid having to pay unnecessarily. Having stayed at the hotel in both 2011 and 2012 it is better to pay a... More

Superb setting overlooking harbour and yachts. Travel easy as hotel arranged minibus pickup from the airport. We had to buy our own fery ticket going out, but the hotel arranged our ticket going back and luxury transfer - the only thing was we got to the airport very early because of ferry times and the flights of others we had... We booked this hotel as part of a Secret Escapes deal, and I have to say I was originally sceptical, simply due to the number of these cheap 'deal' holiday sites. Overall though, I'm pleased to say that the holiday was great - it was a slice of real Italian life. The Hotel Riviera overall is good, it's ok -... More

My husband and I have just returned from our holiday to Isola San Pietro, we stayed at the lovely Hotel Riviera which was by far the best hotel on this little island. We travelled from Cagliari airport by mini bus (air conditioned) with a lovely female driver who took the time to show and explain things to us about the... More

Hotel is as good as everyone says, great location, rooms and breakfast, very relaxing. Receptionist Alice is a gem, unfortunately the other receptionist needs a bit more training, when we asked for our bathrobes (which came with the room) she said NO and claimed not to understand any english. Unfortunately the "not knowing english" ruse and ignoring you was a... More

My gf and I this hotel from 21st to 28th of August, we booked a superior room with half board from an online booking agency for 960€ without the flights to and from Cagliari. When we arrived at the airport a air-conditioned mini-van was waiting for us who took us to the ferry about 1 hour away. Then ferry took... More

We had a room at the side of the hotel looking onto a wall and side street. Unfortunately the hotel was booked fully and we could not upgrade to a front room. However the bed was comfortable, the hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. We arrived and departed by ferry which docks about 280 yards... More

We were recommended this hotel for our visit to Carloforte and found it very nice indeed. On our early arrival our room was ready - on the 4th floor facing the harbour. The AC was on because of the sunlight; a pleasant change from most hotels. The room was luxurious and the bathroom spacious. We spent the day exploring this beautiful... More

We asked for a superior room with a sea view when we booked and were glad we did. Our room was lovely with a large terrace overlooking the harbour. Other rooms had, we understand, less attractive views to the side of the hotel. The curtains in our room were somewhat tatty and whilst the bathroom was large and well appointed,... More
