We were cheated with description of the hotel with reality of - barracks previously used for slaves, without window on the first flour, just a door outside - not working air condition - bed with ages similar to the century when villa was build - mattress in which you fall in, which is still might be only bad for a... more

We stayed for 6 nights in late October. Frascati is a 30 minute train ride from Termini, trains run hourly (2 hourly on Sundays). The last train from Rome is quite early so beware. The free minibus meets you from the train and is efficient. After a day of travelling we were delighted to see the hotel at the end... more

We stayed here four nights having booked a combined deal with British Airways through Expedia that was an absolute steal! We had a twin room in the annex, which is an attractive building in the gardens. The rooms are quite small but there's no reason to stay in the room except to sleep - the gardens are lovely and the... more

My father had purchased a package for this hotel and gave it to me and my wife as a gift for our Italy trip. We were very pleased with our stay! The hotel is perched up on a hill in Frascati overlooking the towns below. It is a charming old villa with modern rooms, and the service was excellent. Even... more

Getting there: We arrived at Rome FCO (Leonardo Da Vinci) early morning on Alitalia from Heathrow. Having visited Rome previously we decided to use the train rather than a taxi or private transfer, so we made our way from arrivals to the train terminal in the upper level of the airport for the Leonardo express to Rome Termini. The self... more

A beautiful hotel with stunning views of Rome. Excellent shuttle service. Very popular for wedding receptions, which could have a detrimental effect on service for other guests. Nice pool area. The dust from the unmade drives tended to get everywhere. more

We got married in Rome at the beginning of July and stayed at the Villa Grazioli along with more than 70 of our guests. The hotel itself is beautiful, situated in lovely grounds with a view looking on to Rome. The swimming pool is really nice, the pool area very clean and the rooms themselves large, clean and very comfortable.... more

Getting to the hotel is a piece of cake. If you land at Fuimicino then take the train to Roma Termini and from there to Frascati (30mins). Ciampino arrivals just need to jump on the train to Frascati(15mins). Once in Frascati the hotel's shuttle bus will pick you up and take you up the hill to the hotel. The hotel... more

The Good bits: - Its location is removed from the manic, over crowding of Rome. It's set high up in the hills, 12 miles from the centre, so is easy enough for sight seeing, but you can still enjoy the picturesque surroundings as well. - They provide a free shuttle bus to take you to and from the local train... more
