Well run friendly hotel. The hotel operates a regular mini bus service to Sorrento. This was useful for taking the train to Pompeii and Herculaneum and the bus to Amalfi. It also makes it easy to get the boat to Capri. The room was really good giving excellent views of Vesuvius. Our room was to the side of the main... More

I found that if you booked with Thomas Cook and not Thomson you were ok. Ask for a full balcony with sea view and not a juliette balcony and of course you have to pay for what you get and you will not be disappointed. Another couple who stayed the same days paid over £1000 more than us with Thomson... More

When I was looking for a hotel in Sorrento, I thought why stay at a hotel in town the view of the Amalfi Coast is supposed to be beautiful? But I was afraid that I would be too far from town if I stayed in hotel in the hills and how would I get to Sorrento once I'm at the... More

My family had a wonderful stay here 14 - 21 Aug. I liked the feel of the traditional hotel with it's high ceilings and ornate furniture. The setting high up in Santa Agata is beautiful with wonderful views over the coast of Sorrento. The staff were very helpful and polite, those in the restaurant made the stay delightful, with Nino... My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon in Italy. We stayed here for one week through Thomson. I have signed up to trip advisor specifically to review this hotel as we had a terrible stay here and wouldn't wish it on others especially newly weds like us! We were checked in by the one friendly member of staff,... More

We arrived at the hotel fairly late and were greeted by a lovely and informative receptionist. All the staff on reception were very helpful and polite during our stay. We emailed to ask about a upgrade due to trip advisor recommendations but were quoted 350 euros, which we decided against due to us not wanting to spend a lot of... More

We have just returned from a stay at the beautiful hotel Jaccarino in Sant' Agata. The hotel is converted from a former mansion so it has a lovely aspect with high ceilings and grand proportions in the communal areas particularly. It is a very scenic area so many of the guests take the opportunity to sight see which means that... More

My Partner & I arrived after a delay leaving Naples airport and were greeted in the usual fabulous manner by the staff, especially by Raffael, the barman. We had missed dinner, so a lovely cold collation had been laid on. This was our fourth consecutive visit to the Iaccarino, it is a truly magical hotel! Once again, Laura & the... More

We arrived late on a Monday night. Shown to our rooms and then told to go straight to dinner. When we finally got to go to our rooms, one smelt so strongly of vomit that we couldn't stay in, I went to reception, but they said nothing could be done till morning, so 4 of us slept in 2 single... Thank you so much for a lovely lovely stay at Hotel Iaccarino last week. Food was lovely, with well kept rooms and a fantastic view up on the hills of Sorrento bellow. Yes it's a drive into Sorrento, but there's a free shuttle, plus the local bus service which runs regularly. Perfect setting, as you can escape the lively surroundings... More
