Had a lovely night in the hotel last week. We had the most perfect walk into the neighbouring town of Sant'Agata for dinner at Ristorante da Mimi. Thank you to boss man Renato for looking after us.......please remember to send Anna one of your amazing bath mats !! ;-) Peter & Anna

Just got back from staying on the Amalfi Coast for 3 nights here. The location was very high up and the drive up was very long and winding but the views were fabulous. We had the included breakfast each morning and it was fine. We found the rooms to be very quiet because of the thick plaster walls. We did... More

Just back from our second visit to the Grand Hotel Hermitage and we were not disappointed. The service from all the staff was commendable, they should be proud of themselves. The food as always was plentiful, my husband put on a stone in 10 days.... We booked a sea view room as the views are great so pay that little... More

I stayed here with my partner, and although I requested a sea view, I instead was given a smaller room to the back which did not have a balcony and a good view if you hung out the window and craned your neck. The bed was terrible, both my partner and I woke up with severe back pain throughout our... More

This hotel is like the hidden rich mans retreat up in the hills . It is 4.8kms from Sorrento city centro rising 450 meters above Sorrento. The hotel is run by the delightful Renarto who has an infectious smile and laugh and highly efficient. The prices charged for food and drink are the same if you were in a small... More

I got married in Sorrento and we put up all our guests at the Grand Hotel Hermitage for a few days and I was very impressed indeed. Its not actually in Sorrento, its a 15-20 minute drive but the hotel has a shuttle bus which runs regularly and if need be, can send the bus at non-alloted times. Rooms were... More

We have stayed at this hotel twice. It is small and friendly and in a lovely spot. There is a path from the hotel up to the village where there are a number of restaurants to enjoy. We could recommend his to anyone

No summer would be complete without a visit to this lovely hotel. We have just spent our 18th holiday here in 20 years! Each time we arrive it is like coming home. Warm greetings from the staff then up to our large airy room with it's wonderful views across the bay wondering what is on the menu for dinner that night!... More
