Sea view room recommended, lovely views. Good location for sight seeing Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, Amalfie Coast etc. Very clean, helpful reception staff, nice food. Useful courtesy bus into Sorrento but be sure to book in advance.

This is a really nice hotel and has a fantastic location high in the hills overlooking Sorrento and the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The hotel is very clean with nice décor, the rooms are a little on the small side but I think that's true of a lot of Italian hotels. Unfortunately we were not lucky enough to... More

The hotel is great for the views on Sorrento, the Vesuvius and Naples but looks a little bit old fashion. This will probably change in the coming months as the hotel will be closed from October until the end of March to renovate the facade and the balconies (some privacy vis-a-vis the balcony of the neighbors would be appreciated) and... This hotel is located in such a beautiful place , the views across the bay of Napoli were out of this world. Well worth the extra euros for a sea view room. The staff were really friendly and worked tirelessly to make guests feel welcome and valued. The food is excellent and as vegetarians we found most meals inclusive, the chef... More

Loved this hotel! After spending 6 nights in the heart of Sorrento we decided we would spend 4 nights in the hills overlooking Sorrento to relax. This turned out to be an excellent idea. This hotel is brilliant. Friendly staff who are very professional, free wifi, excellent service at dinner, wonderful food, reasonably priced drinks and most important lovely clean... More

This is such a good place that I am reviewing it with four nights of our stay still to go. The service here is exceptional. Polite, helpful and thoughtfull staff. Sometimes its the small things like the cleaners noticing we needed extra pillows and providing them without asking. Today is my birthday and the hotel without our knowledge, delivered a... More

Last year we spent two weeks at the excellent Hotel President overlooking Sorrento. We enjoyed that so much we decide to go back to Sorrento this year, but couldn't afford the President as the offers weren't as good as last year. We chose instead the Due Golfi (through Thomson) for a week and had a great stay. The D-G is... More

This is our 4th visit to the due golfi hotel and it is still fantastic. The staff are amazing and always go out of their way to help and its so nice to see the same team are still there and they are all such a credit to the hotel. Nothing much has changed, still great comfortable clean rooms, relaxing... More

As we travelled from Sorrento wondered if we would ever arrive at our hotel as others were dropped off at their respective hotels. However, although we were at the end of the line and high up it was all worth it. We wanted a balcony with a view and got fantastic views of Sorrento and the coast. Vesuvius was usually... More
