I can only imagine that our tour company put us up here for two disappointing nights in order to save costs. Why else would anyone stay here? It is about a half hour drive away from central Sorrento and all the sights. The hotel itself was not very comfortable, with basic breakfast and average service. If you wish to enjoy... More

This hotel will ruin your holiday, holes in bed sheets ,damp basement rooms, poor quality food, understaffed. no one on our trip could believe Newmarket travel charged us extra to stay here .it may say four star above the door , but it ends there!

This is not a four star hotel more like a two star. Arrived early hours in the morning after being dropped by tour operator at top of the hill leading down to the hotel checked in . When we got into our room pulled back the covers on the bed found the sheets had holes in them went back to... More

On arrival first impressions rooms adequate, cleanish ,not very big, not looking like 4 star. First morning breakfast very minimal, toast ,cereal 2 choices, plain yoghurt , ham ,cheese + buns, by Sunday (5 th day) we had croissants and by leaving day we had fresh fruit (apples + oranges ) in the land of plenty fresh fruit . Evening meals... More

We booked after much deliberation and an assurance from the Newmarket telesales person, an allocation on arrival holiday to Sorrento. We decided to make sure that we got a good hotel so decided to pay for an up-grade to 4 star to make sure we would get a nice place, we also upgraded to half board.... Meeting the rep (Lynda)... This hotel is no more than a con. Went with Newmarket Holidays, on checking in was given room 106, this turned out to be on the lower ground floor. The room had a small window that looks out on the road that runs by the side of the hotel if your in to wheels then this is the one for you,perfect... I don't blame the Hotel for my location, the staff was helpful and the hotel was very clean. Our room on arrival room 104, was in the basement of the hotel and when we opened the curtains we was shocked by the view, a wall, when we asked for a sea view. The wardrobe door was hanging off. The cupboard... More

If you go allocation on arrival,,fight tooth and nail,to avoid this place.tell the rep you will not stay... More

You step back in time when entering this hotel – but no old world charm greets you here. Brightly-coloured ceramic Sorrento floor tiles may add a cooling effect after the day’s heat but the atmosphere is distinctly chilly if it’s there at all. From bland breakfast to dull dinner, stuffy rooms and dysfunctional toilets and no bar to speak of,... More

Opted for 4* allocation on arrival with Newmarket Holidays, big mistake. Not the standard of a 4*hotel, would struggle to be 3* in UK. No pool, small, hot, airless rooms, noisy street, little choice at breakfast and poor quality food. Very disappointing and the best advice I can give fellow travellers is do your homework before you book anywhere in... More
