I did not actually stay at this hotel, however we went for dinner on several occasions as we rented a house nearby! The atmosphere was nice and service was good! We enjoy staying in blackwater, it's not far from Wexford town and there are some lovely beaches nearby.

I was very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in the rooms. They were dusty and looked like they hadn't been aired in months. The bare minimum of cleaning had been done, i.e.. beds changed, towels changed & bins emptied. The windows were covered in dust & cobwebs! There was rubbish stuffed down behind the bedside lockers & the closer... More

Stayed here last night - sheets were clean but apart from that the room obviously hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. We spent a considerable amount of time removing cobwebs, catching spiders dangling over our beds & cleaning the bathroom (last guests soap left on bath). Discarded rubbish was jammed behind the headboard, lamps didn't work & I... More

This could be a great little hotel, but it isn't. When we were checking in we were told that there was wifi in the room, we were even given the password for access. We were also told that breakfast was available at 10 euro each. That's as good as this stay went. We were given a key and sent upstairs... More

We went in here last night while staying in Blackwater, i needed WIFI to stream the Leinster Game. Was impressed with the bar, wasn't expecting it to be as nice. The food looked fantastic so we will definitely be going back.

When we arrived on a Thursday evening there was no one at reception, But a member of the staff came from bar and checked us in no problem. Rooms were upstairs, no lift, ok for us but could be a problem to some. Room was basic, but was clean and comfortable, bathroom well laid out with bath and shower. We... More

I stayed in the so called Blackwater Lodge Hotel for 2 nights for €200 b&b incl dinner. We drove into their carpark, that seemed to be the carpark to the Londis Shop. I was meet by a really unfriendly lady who really didn't want to be there. She just rolled her eyes when we booked in and mubbled that our... More

Myself and Partner took a chance on going to BLackwater Lodge Hotel in Wexford after hearing it been reopened. We stayed in the Hotel Sat & Sun Night. The Hotel has a new owner and has been fully refurbished. We had great food in the Hotel Resturant and there was live music both nights. There is also three other Pubs... More
