I travelled with my husband and 2 children. We were greeted by fresh homemade scones n jam which I thought was a lovely touch. Trish gave us a tour of the house and then left us to settle in. House had everything we needed (we stayed in Delacey). Plenty of space, clean, couldn't fault it. Loved the log burner in the... More

We stayed Thursday to Monday. Beautiful location however only suitable for car drivers as located on a busy road, not safe for walking on especially with a buggy. The houses are located in a beautiful area with mature gardens surrounding them which could do with some TLC especially around the kids play area. Cottages are very spacious, well equipped and... I stayed with three others in the Pine Lodge at the end of September. Just pulling through the gates made us feel relaxed and calm. The surrounds are beautiful, the Lodging is roomy and comfortable. Trish and William are 5 star hosts. They were avail at all times to assist with our questions related to their property and those not... More

Thank you so much for your kind comments, we feel very relaxed here too, and with the forestry so mature, the walks are lovely especially in the Autumn with the changing colours. It was a pleasure looking after you ladies, and we really enjoyed your company too. Hope you will plan another girls holiday soon again. Trish & William More

Nice woodland setting, well equipped accommodation, a great place to stay. Childrens play areas are additional attractions, which makes it a good safe place for families. A short drive to the shops and pubs, with Trim having everything you could want.

Great to hear you enjoy your stay with us and the sights of Trim. You were really privileged to see the otters in the river and I will look out for them when I walk there now. There is a lovely family of swans there too, which is always a pleasure when walking. Hope to see you again soon with... More

We had a very relaxing weekend and a great time in Trim, even seeing otters on the banks of the River Boyne outside Trim Castle. Trish makes you feel welcome and comfortable, with great play facilities for the kids and woodland walks with the dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay in Trim and at the Beechwood Lodges. The bungalows are really well presented - very roomy and modern decor. It was an ideal setting for our family holiday. The only thing that let it down for us was the heating - we went in a chilly spell in early April and the wood chip which... More

This is a long overdue review. We stayed in 2004 and again in July of 2010, both times in the "self catering". And both times a great stay. Trish is a very good host and the grandkids (then 9 and 7) loved the tennis court and remember Trish fondly. It's good to have a familiar home base for young kids... More

We stayed here for one night recently. a little bit out of the way but lovely setting. Trish gave a very warm welcome and gave us whatever information we needed. However, room smelt stale and felt unlived in for a while. Also loads of beetles running around the bathroom in the night Lovely breakfast

We were delighted you chose us for your overnight stay and received our customary warm welcome. The room where this guest stayed is a large double room with bathroom en suite, which is frequently used for B&B guests . Our location is just 3 miles from Trim on the Summerhill road and this is clearly stated on our website. When... More
