If you like to sleep -- then check that the room you stay in is not near the disco.club. Pounding through your head until 3.30 am means not a wink of sleep. And complaining meant a move to another room at 2.00 am -- but the noise was still very audible. Even exhausted children couldn't sleep/ And when complaining the... more

Unfortunately this is a hotel that needs to up its standards or drop prices. Stayed for 2 nights, lift broke on 2nd day and still wasn’t fixed when we were checking out. Found housekeeping very lax, room was ok but hadn’t been cleaned on 2nd day until late afternoon when we got back from day out. Chatting to other guests... more

We stayed here for a wedding not so long ago. We all had a great time (the alcohol helped) and sang and drank until the early hours. The room which we stayed in was lovely - as we entered the room we were suprised to say the least! The bedroom was neatly decorated and the bathroom was wonderful. The Jaccuzzi... more

We stayed here for a hen night last weekend. We were treated sooo well by the friendly Irish staff, The rooms are lovely and modern. The bathroom was clean and nicely tiled. I was upgraded to a spa room as my room was above the function room and a little noisey. The receptionist was so nice and accommodating about it.... more

A family run hotel which bends over backward for visitors. We came straight from the airport, jet-lagged and bleary-eyed, and the staff gave us a room before normal check in time. The bed was firm and comfortable. The rainfall showers were the best we had in Ireland, equipped with luxury soaps and lotion. They have spa treatments on premises, which... more

On a brief visit to the region we decided to stay in the Headfort Arms Hotel. My partner had arrived a day earlier at the hotel than I did so on my arrival I had a challenge trying to convince the receptionist that I was in fact part of the booking and to part with a key. This was eventually... more

We stayed at the hotel for one night after our arrival at Dublin Airport. I selected the hotel because it was around an hour-hour and a half drive from the airport, not too far, and it was enroute to our next destination. From the airport we stopped at Hill of Tara which is directly on the route to Kells. Arrived... more
