My family stayed here while attending a wedding in Clonabreany House. The location is perfect and the house can accommodate a large group of family or friends. Mary, the host, is absolutely lovely and goes well out of her way to ensure your stay is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. I would highly recommend Avilla Farmhouse to anyone attending... More

We booked Avilla Farmhouse as a group recently for a wedding weekend in Clonabreany house. Brilliant hosts. Tea and delicious fresh baked scones on arrival. Rather than breakfast being cooked early next morn they had stocked the fridge for a fry and left fruit cereals milk etc for us to have whenever suited, ......which I thought worked out much better... Stayed here as a family member was getting married in Clonabreany House, about 5 mins drive away. We were looked after extremely well, fresh food, spotlessly clean house and very friendly owners. Would definately recommend this house if staying in this area. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful

All you could want in a country holiday stay. The house was well laid out with plenty of space. We arrived to a lovely roaring fire, fresh coffee and home made scones and soda bread. The breakfasts were made from fresh local produce and hosts Mary and John made sure we had everything we needed and more! Highly recommended and... More

My husband, his parents and I stayed in Avilla Farmhouse for one night while attending a wedding in Clonbreany House, which is only 5 minutes away by car. Mary greeted us with tea, coffee (proper Italian coffee!) and fresh scones when we arrived, then drove us all to Clonbreany House for the wedding reception and collected us at the end... More

Avilla is a lovely large newly renovated country home, it has a big separate sitting room with a cosy fire, fully equipped and modern kitchen dining room, and 3/4 bedrooms. I stayed with my boyfriend for a week but there is room for a large family/group of friends. We used it as a base for touring the beautiful local area... More
