The hotel is an old house which is fully renovated. It is very clean and the personnel are very polite. We visited the hotel with another family with children. Most of the residents were couples and we might have been a bit annoying to them, although they never showed that. The breakfast is excellent and full of handmade traditional food.... More

We had just one night of stay, but everything was great! The service was excellent, the room was clean and romantic with a fireplace in frond of the bed. Very convenient location since it is right in the center of Portaria.

We visited Naoumidis Guest House (Aρχοντικό Ναουμίδης) during November 2014. The website presents it much better than it actually is, mostly concerning the rooms, at least at winter. We booked a superior room, with jacuzzi and fire place. They first put us into a common small double room, in which we didn't like the decoration. However, when we asked for... More

We stayed at the Naoumidis Traditional Luxury Guest House for two days during November on the occasion of our 4th marriage anniversary. We have chosen Deluxe Suite 1, a spacious suite (75-80 sq.m in two levels) with a fireplace and amazing ceilings (either hand drawed or made of curved wood). The suite -also equipped with a mosaic jacuzzi/ hamam and... More

Went to this hotel on a couples weekend. The hotel is located in a small village on the mountain, overlooking the city of Volos. It is a 15 mins drive from Volos, and you need to have a car to get there as transport may not be very convenient. There is a public car park 50m from the hotel so... More

Naoumidis Mansion is a very good base for exploring the beautiful Pelion region. It is situated at the very picturesque village of Portaria, which is very close to the town of Volos but also to the pretiest villages of Pelion mountain. It is an old traditional Mansion (Archontiko - which is it's actual name in Greek) with beautifully decorated ceilings... More

I've stayed there with my family last August for 2 nights. It wasn't our first choice. We were planning to stay at a hotel in the city of Volos, as we were attending a ceremony there. Unfortunately, all hotels at Volos seemed to have no available rooms, because of a sports event which was taking place there. So, we chose... More

I stayed here with my wife in early September last year, which is still considered summer for Greece, and it was absolutely great . It takes you back in 30's , but it's very well maintained . Portaria is a little bit far from the nearest beach , so the pool despite the fact that it's quite small, it's very... More

I stayed here for a wedding (we pretty much took over the place) and loved the pool, views, courtyard, breakfast and more. Friendly staff dealt with us rowdy Americans quite well. This place is called Archontiko Naoumidi and Mansion Naoumidis too.

a really good hotel. The service was excellent. If it is crowded parking might be a little hard, but the location is nice anyway. The rooms were nice. all rooms have nova (cable tv) and wifi(free)
