Such a unique location for a luxury hotel! Great service and rooms! It was peaceful and quiet so we had a relaxing stay! We would definitely book at Xenia Palace again. Ideal for every season since in the winter it's very cozy and in the summer it has a huge pool!

We visited this hotel for 2 nights at the start and end of a group tour on two consecutive weeks as part of a tour of mainland Greece. The holiday was selected as it included the Pelion peninsula where this hotel is situated. The views across the peninsula, towards Evvia and beyond to a snow capped Mount Parnassus were stunning.... We visited the hotel for a weekend and we had a great experience. We had a junior suite with a great view to Volos. The room was very comfortable and the amenities were super. Breakfast was perfect with traditional and European ingredients. Staff hotel was very helpful for preparing a meal for the baby and generally providing whatever needed. Great... More

We are just back from our weekend in this hotel. At the first sight the hotel is not impressive, it's architecture is not my favorite, but once inside my opinion changed:warm, cozy and a nice Xmas. atmosphere. Rooms are nice size, with all the providings for a hotel on this category. I liked the common areas, specially the bar area,... More

- Location: Nice. It is a five minute walk from Portaria square and 10 minute drive from Makrinitsa village. The hotel provides an excellent base for visiting some picturesque villages of Centaurs mountain. View: Amazing view of Volos and Pagasetic gulf. - Atmosphere: Pleasant. - Decoration: The furniture and decoration were elegant. - Room: It was of a good size,... More

This is a very old hotel (I have visited it in the 1970s with my family!) that used to belong to the public owned chain of hotels. It has been bought and renovated by a well known hotel chain. The location is great on the outskirts of Portaria village and with views of Volos and the bay beyond. The rooms... More

We have just returned! Clean, very kind people, spledid view, really nice breakfast, unfortunately the room was small and the extra bed was really uncomfortable, but they changed it immediately as we asked. Nice pool.

Excellent location, helpful people, amazing view and great hospitality! The swimming pool was a little bit cold but it was nice if you consider the high temperature of Volos city. The staff is very helpful. The only dissatisfying was the plumbing of the room. They could renovated also as hotel has been.

I stayed for a weekend at the hotel during a medical convention taking place there. It's a nice friendly place, with great environment. Near villages central square but not on the main road, so very convinient and quiet. Very clean. Pool was empty - its filled after the 7th of June. Expensive due to the convention but reasonable prices all... More
