Small friendly clean hotel in a quiet location with an outside balcony. It is a five minute walk to the organised beach and the waterfront restaurants. Petros the owner is one of life's true gentleman and is warm, helpful and welcoming. Pythagorion is a lovely seaside port and well worth a visit. There are lots of wonderful restaurants, bars and... Samaina hotel is a small, nice, friendly and very clean hotel. The separate air-conditions in each room is working perfect. At breakfast you get everything you need. The location is quiet, but still close to beach and all the restaurants and bars. Samos is a place to go back for, and this is the hotel.

Family owned hotel that really takes care of you. I come back every year. It feels like a second home. My princess room is on the roof. No high heels in Phytagorian! The Samaina wine is ecologial and tastes like rain in spring.

Took a chance and booked flight only to Samos, then found an ''independent'' hotel on the net. No regrets at all!! From first e-mail to final checkout we were treated with a friendly courtesy by Petros and his small staff. The hotel is centrally positioned yet quiet, well suited to a romantic get-away or a longer stay, we only had... More

I would hope that within a short time we will book into Samaina Hotel. Petros who owns the hotel, is a very friendly person. Have visited several times and met his parents who are incredibly sweet. The hotel seems like a real Greek hotel and is clean and lovely rooms, with a beautiful view. So we try to book in... More

We stayed in one of the rooms at the top floor. The view over the town and the harbour is very nice. The balcony is big - there is both an area in the shade with table and chairs and also sunbeds and another table in the sunny area. Petros, the owner, is very friendly and very good at English.... Pythagorion is a lovely village with beautiful small port - lots of yachts and restaurants. The hotel is a short walk downhill to the Main Street and port. The castle/fort near the church is a must visit. We had a room with a balcony and view. It was clean and basic but comfortable for our 3 day visit. Petros the... More

If you're looking to stay in Pythagorio (which you should!) this is the place to stay. Perfect location, great views, VERY clean, free parking nearby, good wifi in the rooms, amazing staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I could not say enough good things, we ended up staying an extra night and would have loved to have stayed longer.

We took a chance and booked this hotel from Samos town. We arrived mid-morning and Petros, the owner, welcomed us warmly. We stayed for five nights in a comfortable room with a large balcony overlooking the village and sea. There are a table and chairs and sun loungers provided on the balcony which is partially covered with an extended open... More

We stayed for one night at Samaina Hotel and had a mostly positive experience there. The owner kindly picked us up at the port and gave us great recommendations for dinner. As it was quite busy when we arrived, we were only able to book a room with partial seaview and the owner was very upfront about this during the... More
