We were very excited about our stay at the Princess hotel. 2 weeks before our arrival we recieved an email saying that due to it being end of season the hotel was closing part way through our stay so we would be transferred to a different hotel. We were then a bit skeptical as to how our stay would progress.... More

Stayed for 2 weeks from 21 September to 5 October. Hotel is in a great location opposite the main beach which is lovely and has excellent facilities. 8 euro for two posh sun beds and an umbrella per day, waiter service drinks and food and showers/loos/ wi fi etc. Hotel clean and attractive - cleaners excellent and thorough fresh towels... Hotel We thought the hotel was very nice and the reception when we arrived was very friendly and simple, booked in signed for keys, valuables safe is in the room. The room was spacious, small fridge, AC that was right and cooled room effectively. Bathroom was sufficient for what you need, no issues with hot water what so ever, in... More

We arrived on 7th September for one week. Our first impressions of the hotel were very good, with a warm welcome and a lovely clean bright interior. However, when we were shown to our room it was not as we anticipated. The standard rooms bear no resemblance to the website photos and are basic with tiny bathrooms, the bath being... More

Arrived 9 September the hotel looked amazing from the outside. We were allocated our rooms on the ground floor which we latterly "fondly" referred to as prisoner cell block h ! Probably the worst room I have ever had abroad dingy patio area absolutely no sun at any time during the day. Bathroom so antiquated and smelt of damp! The... More

Our party of four returned to the hotel for a fortnight arriving 13th September, as always a wonderful welcome from reception and our rooms were spacious on the first floor with a generous patio area. We were booked for bed and breakfast and occasionally had meals in the evening, especially on the Greek Bbq nights, please don't miss them as... More

Arrived sept 16th 2014 we had requested a sea view balcony but was told they hadn't received the request . Was shown to a dingy basement room with no view at all and surrounded by bushes ( room 14 ) do not accept this room. We complained and were given room 35 which was up 45 steps but overlooking the... My wife and I had a 1 week holiday in Kefalonia and stayed at the Princess Hotel. Very nice rooms and comfortable bed. The hotel is on a bit of a hill and is on several levels so there are lots of steps to cope with. We didn't use the restaurant other than for breakfast , which was varied and... More

So long as you don't get a garden view room, you can potentially have an okay stay. The pool is surrounded by tattooed, pale and rowdy Brits abroad. Furthermore, the best word to describe the 'continental buffet breakfast' would be "barren". However, the hotel is in an amazing location literally 50 metres from potentially the best beach on the island.... More

Stayed here end of August with my wife and daughter. It's in a great location, the main reason we booked it, literally over the road from in my view the best beach on the island ( Makris Gialos). Also 5-10 mins walk to plenty of bars and restaurants of Lassi. The town isn't much more than a long road, with... More
