After reading other reviews, we chose Stavros and loved it. My friend and I (in our 60's) are always searching for upscale hostels and this one met all our expectations...very clean, quiet, private bath and conveniently located to all parts of Santorini. Location: it’s in the village of Katerados, which is some 20 min walk from Fira. The owner, Stavros, was the most helpful person I have ever met. He got us a wonderful deal on a rental car (55 euro for 3 days, split between 4 people).
