One of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. It is tired in places and could do with a lick of paint here and a good scrub there, but the room was generally good. The pool area needs making more attractive as the loungers are not particularly new and it all just needs a good tidy up really! The facilities... More

Overall I found Caveland to be a good place to stay for the price. Santorini is a very expensive island and we were traveling with a few friends who had booked at Caveland, so we decided to join them there. Very luckily we were warned by a few people we met in Crete (before heading to Santorini) that we should... More

We stayed in Caveland 3 nights in early July and liked it. The location is perfect - the hostel is a short 20 min walk from Fira, and is perfect if you are looking for a more serene and quiet place to stay. The rooms are pretty cool and the staff is super friendly. The people of Karterados are the... More

After a very bad experiance at Fira Backpackers from arrogant staff I went to stay at Cavelands instead... What a nice change the Staff were friendly and helpful, the accomodation was very clean and spacious. The whole setting was a very enjoyable experiance. I would definately stay there again. Only down side you need to catch a bus there and... More

I was in Caveland more then a year ago and I am planning to return in September. I felt there as it was my home. There is a big, open central courtyard with many flowers and plants, swimming pool and small caves around. Like a fairy tale on a Santorinian way!Owners are so cool, easy going and both very strong... More

I stayed at Caveland for a week in June 2014, having already travelled for nearly two months previously, and have to say that it was the best place I'd stayed yet. Beautiful spacious cave rooms, a pool, and a lovely courtyard for sitting and enjoying the evenings and socialising with other guests. The staff were so warm and friendly, beyond... More

A true paradise. I arrived at Caveland for my very first greek island experience, and it certainly was all I could have hoped for and more! Sweetest outdoor areas overflowing with those beautiful bright purple flowers, which contrast so well against the white and blue painted, curved stone of all the buildings. We stayed in one of the larger caves... More

Came to Caveland for the first time last month and absolutely loved it. Staying in Karteradhos was absolutely perfect: a short walk to the southeast Fira's restaurants, bars, and shops but without the tourist vibes of Santorini's capital. Locals were charming, food was fantastic, and my room was perfect. Kostas and Veronika, the heads of Caveland, have poured their hearts... More

I had the greatest experience at Caveland. Stayed for a month in my own private cave, and it was SO great. Even had my own little kitchen area. Plus I met some incredible people along the way. I want to go back!!
