we travelled mid Sept 2014. We were given this hotel after being told that our original hotel was overbooked (original hotel Stefania in centre Stalis). This hotel was too far away from the centre and the walk twice a day got bit tiresome towards the end of the week. Facilities were poor, there was no pool bar opened, no music,... More

My husband and I have just returned from 2 weeks at the Thisvi Hotel in Stalis Crete. Very basic hotel, but cheap. No frills as such. A little quirky. Various observations in no particular order: - Down the quiet end of the bay, which we liked. Stalis proper only a relaxing 10 minute walk away. - Couple of very good Greek... More

We really wanted to give this 2* budget hotel a great review because we had a wonderful week in Crete and were so happy that we transferred here after our initial hotel in Malia double booked us. Unfortunately our stay was tainted by the owner, Dimitria, who seems to have not grasped the concept of customer service in her 30... More

Perfect location, very friendly family that run the place. The pool is not very big, but enough for kids and relaxing parents. Recommended if you dont want to spend too much money but still want à good location.

Good points: - Great location. Nice see view. It is better then live on the main street of Stalis or near the highway. - Great see view from the breakfast place. - Nice mini-market and nice family staff that working whole day. Questionable points: - Breakfast is too poor. 1 kind of sausage, 1 kind of cheese, eggs, flakes and... More

Staff do not enjoy their job much. Breakfast was rather basic. Location ok, close to the sea and not far from the main street and beaches. A part of the hotel is a small shop. The pool could be definitely cleaner and so the bathroom.

Good points: A great location - it's located almost on the seashore and about 300 metres from lovely sandy beaches and the city centre of Stalida. It's in a very quiet area, but all places of entertainment are only 10 min away. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel if you want a quick snack, it's open from early... More
