We are just home from a fantastic week in Stalis, Crete. Our accomodation in Papas Beach was basic but it was clean and location ideal.We were lucky and got one of four rooms that had a sea facing balcony. Though the balcony was more than tiny the view was sensational. (See Photo). Papa's Beach has no receptionist so when we arrived there was no welcome, instead a couple of pieces of paper stuck to the reception desk with our name and number written on it. When we got up to our allocated room the key was in the door and we were in a bit of a state of shock. Though it was 6am in the morning and we had been travelling all night we were happy to see that though the room was small and the kitchenette part of the studio was practically on the bed the room was clean so we were happy enough just to get some well needed sleep.
