This very old hotel has only 17 rooms. I was a bit leery when checking in but was a bit sad leaving after two nights. While checking the paperwork the morning clerk had prepared fro me was not correct so the gentleman could not check me in. No problem, he just gave me my room key without any credit card... More

Nettetal is a quiet town on the German/Dutch border. I was staying for one night on business. The hotel is in a nice location next to an attractive church. The building and public areas are pleasant. Although I would describe the bedroom decor as functional and traditional, the bathrooms are modern with good power showers. The highlight was the warm... More

We had two rooms and stayed for three nights at this hotel back in June whilst visiting Floraide 2012. Whilst Floriade was a disappointment Hotel Josten was magnificent. It is a small hotel with simple furnishings in a lovely small and quiet village. The building is old but beautifully restored and maintained and with ample free parking. Bianca and her... More

This is a lovely hotel in a small town/village. We stayed here for three nights whilst visiting Floriade. The staff could not have been more helpful. They spoke English well. There is a 10e evening meal for guests which was excellent. Breakfast was extremely good. Drinks reasonably priced. There is a pub in the village that has a bowling alley... More

Visting Floriade in Venlo, we decided to stay across in the border in Germany. Read the reviews and book a room. The hotel small, clean and with efficient and friendly staff. We had dinner there and was very pleased with it. Yes the hotel is old and there is no lift. If you are staying on the 2nd floor you... More

This hotel is in a lovely position with a pretty terrace and garden beside a church, and there’s parking available. The staff were friendly and helpful despite not speaking much English. We especially appreciated them letting us cancel our second night after we decided not to spend a second day at Floriade (which was very disappointing). Our room on the... More

Stayed 2 nights whilst visiting Floriade in Venlo,Netherlands. Excellent small hotel. Staff very friendly, but limited English spoken. However we were made very welcome. Restaurant & menu was superb, worthy of 4* rateing. However closed on Wednesdays but owners recommended a nearby restaurant which was equally as good. Buffet Continental breakfast was plentiful & well presented. Rooms, large, comfortable & very clean. Well... More

I have stayed in a number of German hotel whilst on business and this one is above average. It's easy to find and free parking is right outside and around the hotel. I paid €75.00 for 1 night through bookings.com which included breakfast. The hotel was well presented and had some nice touches to it in terms of decor and... More
