The hotel is in walking distance from the railway station and only a few minutes from the town core. The rooms are not big, but they are clean. The breakfast is excellent with cold and warm choices. The hotel has no fitness room or pool, but a public swimming pool is not far. There is free WiFi. The hotel gives... More

A traffic jam made us decide to leave the motorway to Frankfurt am Main and we ended at Butzbach. Hotel Römer is situated in de centre of the city, next to the railway station. The rooms, comfortable beds en bathroom are modern and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful with the parking and addresses of restaurants. Our bathroom needed little... More

We looked up directions on mapquest to find it, and it was close to the main station. It is also in the middle of the town square, so close to shops and restaurants and such. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was pretty tasty. We were the only ones at breakfast, so it was relaxing. The internet... More

We had a family room, two large two-person beds with a own shower and toilet. Reception ordered pizza's for us at a local pizza and we were allowed to eat it in their breakfast-restaurant. They helped us with tickets to legoland etc.

My son and I were in Butzbach for the 2012 World Sport Stacking Championships, along with dozens of other families from around the world. Many of us stayed at the Hotel Romer, where the staff did an excellent job of handling such a large influx of non-German-speaking guests. They were patient, accommodating, and worked hard to make sure everyone had... More

Four nights, two single rooms and two doubles. Great stay at the Hotel Romer. I am not familiar with any other Hotel in Butzbach because I am so happy to stay at Romer. The staff was very helpful (study your German), and even let us use their own washroom to do our laundry. They gave us a complimentary half bottle... More

Stopped at Hotel Romer on way to Cologne. 5 mins. from train station. Erika, manager, is an absolute delight. Helped us (2 women) manage our luggage and do some laundry at the hotel. She was a breath of fresh air. Our twin room was clean and comfortable, looked like it had been recently renovated. When the reception on the tv... More
