Beautiful building with need of refurbishment or at least redecoration of the bedroom and ensuite. The location is stunning with the river seine right outside. However it is situated on a busy main road. Their was no air conditioning anywhere in the building and the weather was good to us although this meant that the bedroom temperatures soared and were... This hotel is in a great location, opposite the river, in the centre of town. We had a lovely river view. Staff are friendly and helpful. Decor has a certain shabby charm, and rooms are reasonably clean, although carpets were dodgy and begging for a hoover. Restaurant was closed for summer! Plumbing old and noisy. Would stay here again for... More

We just wanted to have somewhere booked before going to the ferry so I suppose this was adequate. The town lacks lustre apart from the Tabac just down the road where they sell great wine, very knowledgably and at great prices! The Motel forget! The receptionist was so unhelpful and unfriendly. The room I suppose was adequate, but the beds... More

By the banks of the Siene looking for a place to stay this old fashion style French hotel is well located in Caudebec. Our room was at the back and basic clean in need of up grade typical French plumbing as you hear nearby toilet and shower when used. Clean and functional. Polite and helpful service by standard room is... More

Great view but that is it , this is a dark dingy place with a rude disinterested receptionist ,poky room with a tiny bathroom , parking in a courtyard where you have to heave a 15ft metal door while the staff look down watching the struggle. Newspapers three days old, unattended breakfast , stay elsewhere unless you crave the fried... More

Reasonable hotel for the price. Room rather compact but OK for the price and only staying one night. Arrived Sunday evening to find the restaurant closed which is perhaps normal for Sunday but not mentioned in descriptions. Good view of the River Seine. Pleasant town with tourist atmosphere but not many restaurants. Free parking in the road outside which might... More

I stayed here in February 2014 for 2 nights. The public areas of the hotel were decorated to a good standard, however, my room, whilst clean and comfortable, was in need of a freshen up to the decor. The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the Seine. Breakfast was a decent buffet with everything one would expect - however,... More

Hotel overlooked the River Seine and my room had a spacious terrace to enjoy the view. However, rooms are a little dated and basic but no great surprise as this is a 2 Star establishment. Facilities are adequate and clean and staff are generally friendly and helpful - I just think with the right level of investment this could be... More

We stayed here for one night and it did the job. We had a room at the front with great views of the Seine and a nice balcony.Everything was fine - bedroom and bathroom were a good size and bed comfortable.

The restaurant of this hotel has only one defect : the stereotyped , impersonal architecture of a building designed in the style of French architect Auguste Perret , a specialist in reinforced concrete whose impact on Normandy’s post-World War II reconstruction is unfortunately immense . Yet waiters are courteous and efficient. Menus are excellent and affordable , and the restaurant... More
