We stayed here as part of a tour of the Normandy Beaches. Great central location in a small town right on the English Channel. The rooms are small but certainly adequate. Friendly and helpful staff. The room came with a nice buffet breakfast in the lobby area. The town is very picturesque and there are plenty of great restaurants only... More

This is a semi budget hotel located right on the quay. The fishing boats come in and unload right below your room balcony. No fish smell either! The location could not be better. A nice walk down our side of the quay brings you to the lock (it holds the water in at low tide.) and you stroll to some... More

We stayed for one night here at the Ibis, we checked in around midday as our room was ready. Parking is at the back of the hotel but can be a little tricky to find. We had a lovely warm welcome at reception the staff were very helpful and completely understanding of our limited French. One tip would be to... More

The location of this hotel is great for visiting the normandy landing beaches, and other sites as its sits more or less in the middle between St Mere Eglise and Pegasus Beach. I booked this on the internet but had to confirm as the room description didn't match. I needed to book several rooms for our party and needed twin... More

The third time I've used this smart 'boutique' style Ibis, we paid slightly more for a room with balcony overlooking the port. At time of writing €99 per night plus €9 each for European buffet breakfast is still good value for this hotel. Unlike the more basic Ibis's (Ibi ?) this has 24 hour staff and the 'feel' of a... This is a clean standard Ibis hotel in a delightful fishing port. The rooms and toilet facilities were clean but basic, We had a balcony overlooking the harbour - it's a bit strange that there is no separation between balconies though, The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Bar facilities in the reception area available through the night but... More

This is a basic clean budget hotel in this charming little fishing town near Omaha Beach. The parking is a bit difficult to find though you end up behind the hotel after traveling a circuitous route. The rooms are clean but sparse - it feels like a white furniture Ikea ad. The bathroom is very basic with a shower stall.... More

We spent five nights at the Ibis in Port en Bessin and would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the stay. The room was comfortable, simple but very nice, the bed was exceptionally comfortable (possibly the best I've slept on!) and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good. There was ample safe and easy parking... More

This is the letter my wife sent following her stay. To The Manager Ibis Hotel Port en Bessin Dear Manager On Sunday 24 August I travelled, with a friend, to your hotel with Equestrian Escapes for the World Equestrian Games in Caen. We left home at 4.30 am & arrived at your hotel 22.30. The reception we received was less... More
