We had dinner at La Villa Andry after noticing the restaurant while driving by. The unusual interior is clearly visible from outside. And, it is well ranked! The decor is eclectic and well done. In fact the restaurant was redecorated after the 70th anniversary of D-Day. The combinations proposed were unexpected and very good. Except in the dessert department. Everything... More

We stayed here for just one night. Although our room was small,we did have a sea view. Everything was there for us,and a comfy bed. The main rooms, dining room and lounge were beautifully decorated. Breakfast was superb, with lots of choice . Interesting to learn about the history of the hotel too. Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed here one night on our roadtrip through France and Italy. The hotel was charming, as was the town. Unfortuneatly the restaurant was closed so we couldn't try it. Staff was great and me, my husband and our three months old child would absolutely come again. :-)

This hotel is now known as la Villa Andry. Lovely coastal location just opposite Casino and beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Only 1km from ferryport. We were just using the hotel as a stopover before catching a ferry from the terminal which you can actually see from the hotel. The hotel is in a very attractive... More

We have stayed here a few times and have alwAys looked forward to our visit. This time we found standards have slipped.. Paintwork needs redoing, stair carpet was marked. The room we had was small, hardly room to move for 2 people. The restaurant was not as we expected. The cheapest menu was 27 euros. I ordered a Muscadet ( my... More

This is a really interesting hotel with friendly staff who made us very welcome - merci encore! Ideally located to walks and cycling on the D-day beaches. The hotel has an excellent restaurant where we had a three course business lunch that colleagues enjoyed! The Casino is in front of the hotel and even if you are not templted by... More

What amazing staff - so friendly, helpful, accommodating etc... Got off the boat silly early and they let us check in at 7am as the room was not busy. Slept for a few hours before exploring. Perfect. Sadly we did not book the restaurant and it was full but we found another round the corner. Evening drinks at the hotel... More

Could definitely do with refurbishing and installation of a lift. We had booked via Booking.com but when we got there we were told our room was on the top (3rd) floor. My husband has arthritic legs and could not manage to get up there especially if carrying luggage. We were offered a room on a lower floor, which we took... More

The hotel itself could stand a good refurbishing and some sound reduction. Our room on the second floor was directly over one of the private dining rooms and was very noisy on several nights. The staff was delightful, although not all spoke English. We were able to get basic communications across, though, such as making reservations at the hotel restaurant.... More
