Stayed for two nights before travelling on to Brittany. There are some quite steep steps up to reception and then more steep steps up to our room, I have quite severe asthma which was a bit of a problem. The room was small but very clean and bathroom was clean. It was pleasant to sit in the garden in the... More

Stayed as a stop over before ferry. No lift, on second floor but no offer to carry bags. Two people in room only one set of towels. Room very small. Felt in need of some painting especially bathroom. On the positive, nice garden with birds roaming round, close to beach and restaurants. Unsure if I would use again.

As a one nighter either arriving or departing France by ferry, this is ok, although somewhat complex to find. A better option for us arriving late at night from Portsmouth would have been a modern chain near a main road with parking. Parking at this hotel is very limited so street parking is the rule. We had room 26 which... More

Stay her one night while touring the D-Day sights. The hotel has a greate location, in easy walking distance to the sights in Quistreham. The room we stayed at was well kept and quiet big. The bathrom, clean and functional but a bit older. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, truly a greate place. The food very tastefully and the... More

This is our third visit to the Saint Georges, we love to stay here on our last night before taking the ferry home. We were lucky with the weather this time so were able to sit out in the pretty garden with a drink when we arrived. The room was a corner one which was nice as views of the... More

This was okay for the price - I paid 49 Euro - but there are an awful lot of stairs - you climb to get to the front door - then more stairs to your room. I would have thought they would have had a lift. I really struggled to get to the door with my heavy suitcase and had... More

This is an excellent location for visiting the Sword Beach Museum, Pegasus Bridge, Merville Battery & Le Grande Bunker. (appears to be very near the ferry for Porstmouth as well) Hotel price offers a good value & they had a room for 4. Breakfast is rather scant, but like most of France the bread is good & the offerings were... More

If you are catching an early Ferry to Portsmouth then this is a good choice. Location, 5 minutes from the terminal, good secure car park Hotel. Comfortable enough, clean, a bit small bedrooms but ok.small bar with nil atmosphere. No lift so get a 1st floor room. We use a garden facing room overlooking a pleasant garden. Restaurant is great .imaginative food,... More

We stayed here so as to be able to catch the 8:30 ferry. Good, comfortable room, easy on-site parking and an excellent evening meal. The hotel enabled us to us to have a pleasnt stroll on the beach and a relaxing evening before driving home.All-in-all an ideal place to spend your last night in France.

Our third stay at this highly convenient hotel for catching the morning ferry back to the UK. A simple but very functional hotel with an excellent restaurant. The rooms are basic but entirely satisfactory for a night's stopover prior to a channel crossing.
