Fabulously stylish hotel which makes the most of its great position in Puylaurens with a vista south to the Pyrennes. Nice gateway entrance into the hotel's grounds from street at the rear of the hotel brings you round to the main entrance, outdoor seating area and pool all of which benefit of the amazing views over the Lauragais countryside. Beautifully... More

This was our 2nd time to the Hotel and we love it, sweet, charming, boutique Hotel. Our room was upgraded on arrival, David and all the staff are so accommodating! We had arrived from a few full days at a Wedding and I was given a jar of local honey for my throat which was ruined from too much singing... More

We stayed here from 11th-13th September and after looking forward to the visit we were slightly disappointed. We stayed in a junior suite with King Size bed. The suite was lovely and hotel very pretty, all very clean and tidy. We booked for dinner and arrived to a lovely restaurant, the first to arrive so it was certainly not busy.... More

Dear Madame U, We feel sorry you didn't enjoy our service at the restaurant and would like to apologise, as you seemed to love the hotel experience at the same time. It’s a pity you didn't give us a second chance on day 2 neither for breakfast nor dinner. It was a self-sufficient response to our lack of attention... We... More

What a lovely way to end our visit in Puylaurens by having a romantic dinner at this hotel/restaurant. Amazing food and excellent service with attentive staff. Expensive but worth it. Would love to stay in the hotel next time as the building is so lovely.

From the photographs on the website we expected to be in the country, but were in fact in the heart of town. When we arrived we thought we may have made a mistake. However as soon as we stepped inside the old gates and were greeted by the young owner we were sure we would enjoy our overnight stay and we... More

We have paid several visits to this charming boutique hotel in the small village of Puylaurens. It is an excellent touring base for Albi, Carcassonne, Toulouse, Castres and the Black Mountain regions. Only a 45 minute drive from Toulouse Blagnac airport this makes it an ideal location for a shirt break. The hotel is comfortable, traditional and yet modern in... More

Stunning village just outside of Toulouse, The hotel is in centre of village and the buildings were once part of the castle. Lovely terrace and swimming pool, with views over towards the Pyrenees. Dinner was excellent - very small menu As all the dishes are made to order Owners delightful Would like to stay in the hotel next time

A friend and I spend three days using the hotel as a base for a short break in mid November. I was impressed from the start by proprietor David's help and humour not only in making the booking but similarly during our stay. Discreet at all times but with an underlying sense of fun, putting guests immediately at ease. Decor... More

We used Puylaurens as a stopping point for the night on our drive south. We were looking for a charming small hotel where we could have dinner on-site. This inn fit the bill perfectly. Of all the hotels we stayed in during a three week trip, we received our warmest welcome here. Arriving at the small square fronting the inn... More

Once again we had a great stay at Cap de Castel. We had a different room this time with amazing views over the mountains but it was large and very comfortable. David was a fabulous host and very congenial and helpful. We ate in the restaurant both nights but unfortunately inside due to the weather. The food, service and wine... More
