Hotel was clean and somewhat spacious for a wheelchair room. The bathroom was very recently upgraded and was very nice and well planned out. They view from the room was peaceful and was away from a busy street. Bed was comfortable. Not sure why the wheelchair room was on the second floor. Unless they have another and it was taken.... I've read some reviews after I've booked for one night (!!!) and I was a bit worried because they were not so good. Despite of this, we passed a night in a quadruple room in august: it was clean, wide (there was a little room for the kids) and in a good position (in five/eight minutes walk you can reach... More

If only the breakfast was as good as the bed. How they dream up a price of 15 euros per breakfast is beyond my imagination. A short walk into town to visit a local cafe where the same thing costs 6 euros is beneficial to health and pocket. It must puzzle the management as to where 85% of their guests... More

The public areas are good but the room and especially the bathroom were not 4 star standard. Having to access the room via an outside passageway in windy conditions was not pleasant. The bathroom was very poorly maintained and not very clean. The heater grilles were very dirty!

Stayed for 5 nights in May and we have stayed in many Mercure Hotels over the years. This one is NOT up to the normal Mercure standard. It is tired and in need to renovation, worn carpets, poor breakfast selection (often more than one item just not available). After breakfast did not other to eat there - it did not... More

Perhaps the hotel had had a busy summer, but whatever the reason it was in desperate need of an overhaul. The room was freezing cold on arrival - it would be a good idea to switch the heating on before the guests arrive, especially when it is 6 degrees outside. The paintwork was shabby and the room smelt a little... More

This hotel is located about 8 km from Sete in a weird isolated housing estate. On arrival, I waited for 10 minutes for someone to come to the reception desk, and she only came because the phone rang. The room is tired, in need of updating. Imagine our delight when we found human excrement in the toilet in the room... More

Hotel was adequate, but I would advise more of an Ibis standard then Mercure, rooms looked very tired and could do with refurbishment. Paper and plastic cups in the room. Our balcony had water leaking into it from outside pipes and was dirty, not pleasant to sit outside. Would not like to pay full price at the property. On the... More

We arrived late at night and needed an accessible room. They showed us 4 rooms until we found the right one and they were pleasant and warm the whole time. The food was great, delicious buffet breakfast included in the price. Charming town with lots to do!!!

We have now stayed at this hotel twice and we will be going back for another visit next year. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. They gave us a larger room with balcony, not because I asked, but because on booking I mentioned that we would be bringing two dogs. Lovely outdoor pool and bathing area. Very relaxing stay. Good location.
