Let me start by saying that the hotel was comfortable which I think most of us will agree is the most important factor. it is also clean. The rooms are decorated very simply but everything is functional. The mattresses are the right kind of firm, the shower works... The buffet breakfast mixes savory dishes of cheese and hams with the... More

We loved this hotel! The owners and staff were so helpful in planning our tours of the Loire Valley and just a pleasure to talk with. We are a family of five so we booked two rooms in the front of the hotel facing the church. The rooms are decorated very nice. The air conditioner worked great. The bathrooms are... More

Known mainly for its food, folks come faraway places to enjoy the gastronomical treasures that are found here. With the price breakfast is gratis and the parking is free. Across the street from large cathedral which about makes up the town. Very good.

We stayed here as we were in the area to visit Chateau Chambord. The restaurant was an added attraction, and will be reviewed separately. The rooms are well appointed, and freshly decorated. They are a bit small, or at least room 2 facing the church was, because we are travelling with two suitcases each. There is no lift, but the... More

We stayed here a few years ago under the previous owners. The new owners (since 2014) have spruced the rooms up considerably and given the reception area a more open and relaxed feel. Although for most visitors the outstanding restaurant will be the main reason to stay, it is also an easy and relaxed base for exploring the area. The... More

My wife decided we should stay somewhere new. And what a find!! La Maison d'à Côté, opened a year ago, and has won a very well earned Michelin Star within the year. Our room was stylish opposite the church. The restaurant was chic, however the food put everything into the shade! We chose the Menu "Carte Blanche", 5 courses after... More

I have no doubt that we experienced a hiccup in service as a result of heavy Easter demand, and that the young couple will make a great success of this newly starred restaurant. Unfortunately for us, the service was far too slow - having started our meal at 8 pm we only managed to get away before midnight by passing... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in October 2014. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very well situated close to Blois, and very near many of the Chateau of the Loire. The owners and their staff are very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The rooms are very nice with very comfortable beds.... More

We had a lovely one-night stay last month. The location was perfect for us on our way to the Dordogne area. Also very close to Chambord which is not to be missed. The room was nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There was a desk area with WiFi so my husband could do some work. Very... More

We stayed there over-night during a lovely cycling trip through the Loire Valley (great experience to cycle in Loire, full of cycling lanes next to the river...). The owner nicely found a enclosed place to keep our bikes safe over-bight. The room were clean and tidy, nice view on a quiet street overlooking the old church. The bed was very... More
