The site feels small but is actually quite extensive. Good sized pitches in the grounds of a lovely chateau. The owners are very friendly and helpful and they seem to be available all the time. The site is very convenient for the autoroute to the south west but in the middle of lovely countryside. While we were there it was... More

The property and experience were top notch. The owners were lovely and very helpful; great sense of humor and fun. We stayed in what is described on the website as the "separate room". It was charming. There are a number of walks available from the property. It is a great place for dogs and dog walking.

This is one of our favourite holiday locations in the world. We have been coming here for something like 30 years. In recent times it has changed hands, but the high standards are as good as ever. This year we took a caravan, and so rented one of the emplacements for the fortnight. The standard of pitches is high, with... More

We stayed for 2 nights in our tent on our journey home, the site was very quite as it was the end of the season, the site was beautiful with large pitches with plenty of space. The views from the site with the Chateau in the grounds was lovely even though the weather wasn't great. We didn't use any of... More

We first used this site for a few nights camping at the end of a longer holiday in France. This year we had a night in one of the Chambres d'Hote, based on a similar stop three years ago. The swimming pool was very welcome after a long hot drive, the owner and his family were very friendly and the... More

Lovely site - spotlessly clean, and very friendly patrons. The pitches were well maintained and spacious. Beautiful countryside around (Chenin is just down the road and is a lovely medieval town). Only negative - drinks, wii fi and laundry charges were the most expensive we encountered - 6 euros for use of the washing machine, and another 6 for drying... More

Small charming castle with nice garden Rooms were old and could use some refurbishment. We stayed in a suite which was nothing more than a small bedroom with 'seperate' space. It was not closed with a door and I would not call it a living room. We payed 15 euros for a babycot which was very old (from the 50ties).... More
