It's location is priceless. Basically on the beach. Beautiful mansion run with love and care. We booked the family room which is a little apartment on it's own. Fantastic to have a separate room for our daughter! Unfortunately no direct sea view, but on the bay side. Rooms are very clean, wooden floors, nice beds and furnished with love. However... More

For a start the location is hard to beat : an old stone Manoir right across a gorgeous small beach and estuary leading to Pont Aven. There is more to it. A family-like welcome and splendid rooms, all renovated (all of them it seems) and I will finish off with a particular award to the wonderful breakfast , loads of... More

Yet again Tripadvisor comes up trumps! Looking for a good place to stay for a few days near Pont Aven with parking disabled facilities and restaurant we consulted Tripadvisor site and from information gleaned we decided on Manoir Dalmore, as usual we turned up on spec to check if facilities and location suited us. We were quite stunned by what... More

Stayed at Dalmore for two nights with several friends. Found the hotel to be a relaxing place to stayin Brittany overlooking an Atlantic cove. Rooms are comfortable but somewhat quirky as the hotel has been carved (using inventive construction and architecture) from an old mansion. Bathrooms were modern with high-end fixtures, but sometimes a bit awkward to access. Breakfast was... More

We stayed for 3 nights with our 1 year old and were made to feel most welcome and looked after by the very friendly couple who run the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a very relaxing break. The hotel itself felt like a home, and we were visiting during low season which meant it was nice... More

I'd recommend the Manoir Dalmore for both a romantic getaway or, as was my case, taking an elderly relative away for a few days of R&R in late September. Rooms 3 and 4 have their own parking and private terrace with double doors for easy wheelchair access. The shower and separate WC (in Room 4 at least) have wide access.... More

We've just come back from our second visit to this hotel and again had a excellent holiday. We were very well looked after by the lovely staff and owners, the hotel's location is unrivalled with beautiful views of the sea and beach; we love the way you can just walk or cycle directly from the hotel into the surrounding areas.... The location, the renovated rooms -state of the art architecture inside - the owner management and the food of the restaurant are exceptional, we go there again and again, because it is one of the nicest places in France

This hotel was originally a Scottish-type baronial mansion built by an Australian woman in the 1920s. So a bit of an anomaly in the Brittany countryside! Managed by informative, friendly Alice, the building has been converted into a ten-room up-market hotel close to an adjoining beach. A beautiful location. The hotel has a dining room which serves a good breakfast.... More

Manoir Dalmore was built by an Australian woman in 1926 who moved to Port Manec'h to be near the artists' colony at Pont Aven. It is in the Scottish baronial style and has been sympathetically converted into a ten-room hotel by the current owners. Our room was in the converted basement and was a startling black and red decor with... More
