The owner, Milan, is very friendly and welcoming (and multilingual in Croatian, German, French, English, etc.) -- be sure to follow his advice on the best route to walk through Plitvice Lakes Park in order to minimize the crowds. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, and each one had its own balcony. The location was about 10 minutes from... More

Really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The rooms and shared spaces were all quite clean and spacious. The internet was reliable. The owner (I forget his name) was particularly helpful in planning out our tour of Plitvice Lakes. He helped us choose the best route to see the park and even gave us some tips on hikes to do... Everything positive you have read about the House Tina is true. We just departed after a 2 night stay. It was relaxing, comfortable and so very affordable. Family atmosphere but also saw some couples catered to in an elegant fashion. Dinners were well prepared, served by "Milan" who is basically your high end restaurant calibre waiter...but has a personal touch... More

We were there late March/early April and as it was off-season, I think we were the only ones there. So it was very quiet. I'm sure that during the summer season, when it fills up, it is a place with lots of atmosphere! It would be a superb place to hang out & meet other travelers, before and after visiting... More

We stayed for two nights in mid June and could not have asked for anymore! We arrived in the afternoon and it was suggested to go to Slunj for the afternoon, which was great. We came back for the BBQ in the evening, had drinks outside before dinner where Milan had explained the best way to see the Park for... More

We stayed for two nights last week and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, a good size and the beds were very comfortable. No AC, but there is a fan in the room. Milan and his staff were so helpful and he didn't mind when we stayed up late to watch the World Cup match. The breakfasts are... More

Lovely service, clean and comfortable rooms and only a 10 minute drive from the national park. It's a basic accommodation but clean, so it's perfect. A great place to stay. The breakfast is good and varied and you can order off the menu if you wish.

Our family of 2 adults, 2 children stayed in a family room at House Tina. I thought I booked the bungalow, but they gave us the family room with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed. It was only for 1 night so I didn't complain. The accommodations are basic but clean and seem newer. Our room had no tv... More

House Tina is excellent, very clean, very friendly staff, reasonably priced and close to the Plitvice national park. The dinner there is great too, best barbeque food we have had in a very long time. We would definitely stay here again
