Hotel Forster is an active-wellness hotel which is perfect for a short weekend. The surrounding location with a breathtaking view of the South Tyrol mountains plus its well-manicured gardens and the hotel's own small water bay makes it very special. The hotel's facilities were on top condition. One of the female owners welcomed us af if we were a family... More

We can only recommend the Hotel Forster: the food was excellent, the services very professional, the rooms clean and comfortable. There is nothing we would change or mention as a complaint. We have spent a wonderful week there with our 8 years old daughter and would go back immediately if it would be possible. Congratulation for the Gleirscher family, they... More

We stayed at the Hotel Forster for two nights and used it as our base for a weekend snowboard break. We are frequent visitors to Austria so are accustomed to the hospitality of the locals but I must say that the Forster felt a bit special. A traditional hotel with a modern, comfortable interior. Our room was very spacious, clean... More

Our holiday in Stubai valley was fantastic. Hotel has great lication and very nice surroundings. We spent a week there with our 20 months old daughter and she enjoyed the playgrounds and pool very much. All staff were nice and hotel is definitely children friendly! Food was great and there was always something extra. Overall we enjoyed our holidays very... More

We are back the second time in this hotel and we were happy again. The staff is extremly friendly and the location to the skiing resort Stubai Glacier is just right. It's a 15-20min ride by the car or a shuttle bus from the hotel. The food is very good. The staff of the kitchen does a great job with... More

Well, I actually still haven't ended our trip here as I am writing these lines... And I still can't get back from the sensations left by the amazing dinner we've recently had (chestnuts creme soup, deer ragout, almonds sautes on the side dish, etc.). Alike last evening (different menu set, of course) and I am pretty sure alike tomorrow, as... More

We just spent a very pleasant week here. The rooms are all very nice but I would advise viewing the specific room before agreeing as not all rooms have the same quality view. The owners and staff are very friendly and and helpful. They have the typical Austrian 3/4 board arrangement that includes a snack/cake in the afternoon. I think... More

We stayed here for 1 week in February on half-board in a junior suite. The room, on the top floor, was large, clean and comfortable with two seating areas and a good sized bathroom. Robes, towels and slippers were provided for use in the wellness area. The breakfast buffet had a good, varying hot and cold selection with some things... More

We stayed there for a week for Skiing. The hotel is loacted at the street so it is recommended to ask for a non street facing room. Staff is very friendly. Ski rental next to the hotel possible with nice discounts. Wellness area ok - nothing spectacular. Rooms size is good but beds are far too soft. We asked for... More
