Place looked nice and clean, the owners were friendly and the kitchen is good. Unfortunately I woke up in the middle of the night itching, I was bitten and had itching, red hives over my body. I found a couple of small crawling insects in my bed. I wanted to change rooms but reception was locked, long night. Moved out... More

This is a great hostel!!! It's family owned and the family is very attentive and very trustworthy. Book all your activities and transportation through the family! There is an amazing free breakfast served every morning and community kitchen you can use. Laundry service, lockers, decent free wifi, & cheap towel rental. The rooms are clean and very very good value... More

Rooms were clean and large and nice, hot water was great, staff were very helpful and the inclusive breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Sadly the walls are paper thin and you hear everything from 3 streets away. We hardly slept but for $25 for a double room you cant complain too much

Right in the center of town (with shops and restaurants next door) this place offers clean dorm- and bathrooms (cleaned daily). Lockers in dorm, key to dorm give basic security. No common-area besides the balcony or the kitchen/restaurant in the basement. Warm shower and wifi is fast and stable. Breakfast (fruits, egg and one piece of toast with coffee) included... More

Nice spacious and clean room for a good price. Probably one of the best included I've ever had. We had cereal, eggs and fresh fruit. We dos get the awkward kitchen vibe though when we wanted anything extra out of the fridge during breakfast hours. Hostel had a really chill vibe, small common areas on each level but no real... A nice hostel that has hot showers and a decent breakfast. Our double room had two double beds which was great. The only downside is that the owner is quite full on when trying to sell you tours etc. Unfortunately we didn't have the money to do zip lining etc. Upon failing to book anything we pretty much became invisible... This was a well priced simple hostel in a good location. We had a room at the front so it was a little noisy with the traffic, however you hardly spend any time in the room with all the activities you will have booked. Staff were very helpful in giving us advice and booking tours in the rainforest.

Nice private room with private bathroom. Good price and includes breakfast which is decent. Upstairs rooms are a bit noisy from the road and also if people are hanging out on the balcony their voices and music carry right into the rooms. Kitchen is good but awkward if you want to get anything from the fridge or fill your water... More

We had a great stay here, initially for 3 nights then decided to stay longer. Ronny is very welcoming and gives a lot of info about the area & activities. Breakfast is big - coffe/tea, fresh fruit, granola & eggs on toast. Their laundry service is reasonably priced also. We were lucky to get the private room on the top... More
