The cabinas are lovely - designed to give maximum privacy. The lodge and grounds were beautiful. We walked around and saw many birds and cappuchin monkeys. Breakfast was the best we had in Costa Rica -plentiful and delicious! The tours were great, we walked to restaurants. Staff were very friendly but laid-back.

Lovely lodge on beautiful garden very close to center of Santa Elena and all the attractions of Santa Elena and Monteverde. Beautiful, comfortable rooms in separate cottages. Helpful staff, helpful with arranging tours and other eco-experiences, but not pushy about it. Excellent breakfasts in the lovely main building.

Arco Iris is set on beautiful grounds walking distance from everything in 'downtown' monteverde. Also every tour they recommended ended up being better than other tours I picked myself based on reviews or travel guides. Our last morning there we even had a number of monkeys hanging out right outside the buffet window!
