Great hostel! Clean, nice rooms. Even come with towels! GREAT prices. And the owner Yorle, is amazing. So helpful and accommodating. Staying here was one of my best hostel experiences.. I can't wait to go back!!!

Stayed here in June, the owner is really nice and very helpful. wifi was a good speed. Close to all the shops you would need. also saw a sloth climbing on the power lines just outside within a couple of hours of getting there living up to its name!

Upon arrival the owner sat us down and showed us a map of the area and tried to convince us to purchase a ton of possible tours and shuttles. She was pushy in the beginning but after the first day she stopped pushing everything on us and was cool to talk to (in Spanish, her English seemed pretty bad) She... More

Rooms basic but very clean, great breakfasts- lovely home made pancakes, although would have liked some other more savoury options (after a few days of so much sweet food, I started to really crave salt!). Great to be able to book tours from the b&b and very helpful owner.

Yorle the owner is about as friendly as it gets for a backpacker's hostel. Was extremely easy to book activities and Yorle was always available to guide us in the right direction. Is situated in the center of town with bars and restaurants all around the corner. Highly recommend!

We stayed here with our 2 children, room was basic but spacious & clean. Extra blankets, towels and good shower (though the earlier, the better, as it usually goes in hostels). Set up is like a motel, so (small) kitchen is the only common indoor area, but still met some other travelers. Yorle was very helpful, set us up for... More

Yorle (the owner) is really nice, if you're looking to do the expected and typical adventures in Monteverde she won't disappoint. But don't expect more than that. The breakfast was amazing. Her place needs updating. For $35 there is a nice bus to Managua.

The hostel is run by very friendly women, the rooms are clean and the showers are very nice with hot water. Breakfast is included and is very tasty, very close to all shops and restaurants in centre of town.

We had a private room which was clean and spacious. There were also thick blankets, a TV and fridge. The free breakfast was excellent and substantial. The kitchen was available to be used. Yorle also helped us with our trip to Montevarde and then our onward travel. We also had our laundry done there. It was an excellent place to... More

Stayed two nights after showing up to town late and my first choice hostel being fully booked. Decent sized rooms and a standard breakfast too. Owner was a bit rude to me when I said I'd booked tours with my mates at another hostel.. And when she saw me take my laundry elsewhere too. Also tried to charge me for... More
