Great breakfast included. Walking distance to town but far enough out it is quiet. Clean rooms comfy beds. Owner took time to recommend (sell) you activities ands give you as map etc upon arrival. Can book activities through hotel with hotel pick up. Monteverde is a beautiful area. Would stay here again.

My friend and I stayed there for 2 nights, and we really enjoyed it. Clean, quiet, good breakfast, great view, nice location, and above all, our host was very accommodating, helpful and friendly and helped us plan a lot of amazing activities in the blink of an eye. Very great place to stay in Monteverde!

Andres & Jose were GREAT. They communicated (email) well prior to arrival with tour options and made all the arrangements once we arrived. Their recommendations were spot on and we had every nice visit in Monteverde. The communal area (office, seating, large TV, wi-fi, & kitchen) was available from 6:30am to 9:00pm with free coffee and tea, nice place to... More

I stayed for a week in what they called Camino Verde House, which was across the street and away from the reception area and other rooms. There was a private bath, toilet, a shared kitchen (a total of 3 rooms in the house). The staff was attentive and assisted with reservations I needed. Breakfast was included in the room rate.... Upon arrival, offered all the details one would need in a small town. Recommendations for excursions, navigation around town, coffee on arrival etc. Andreas was super helpful in assisting us in booking our Tica Bus over to Nicaragua & has a great relationship with Bernal, the guy who did the tour of Monteverde. The room was nice, comfy & the... More

Camino Verde B&B in beautiful Monteverde is one of the best value places that I have stayed at in Costa Rica. Great value for your money, spotlessly clean, quiet, super friendly, and the ideal location to plan and start tours in the environment. Camino Verde is also only a short stroll into the centre of Santa Elena. The atmosphere at... More

We stayed at this bed and breakfast for one night. We arrived from San Jose by shuttle (that we booked through this company as well). Shuttle was supposed to arrive at 730am but due to road closures they actually called our hotel the night before to notify us that they would pick us up at 830am.... It was really appreciated.... When we got our room at Camino Verde in 2013, we were told that we were getting a nicer end hostel. This place is barely a hostel. We were given a cabin-like room with, if I remember right, two bunks and a larger bed for the four of us. We also got a private, attached bathroom. I remember waking up... More

Wow, what a find. The accommodations are fairly basic but extremely clean, well-maintained, cozy, and artfully designed. Camino Verde was just what we were after and far more personalized than the typical 3-3.5 star accommodations in the U.S.. The rooms include comfortable bedding and pillows, a television, good wi-fi, privacy, and full-bath. We enjoyed the well-landscaped courtyard where visitors congregate... More
