Spacious, clean room at a very reasonable rate. Breakfast provided each morning was fantastic and included in the price. Owners were very helpful and friendly and helped us to organise all our activities in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing! Free wifi, free coffee and tea, very clean! Really affordable, with breakfast included. The owners are a local Tica couple who were incredibly helpful and super nice to deal with. Our group of 4 would recommend this for anyone looking to backpack in CR.

We had a great stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We even saw a sloth in the trees right outside the hostel! Only bad part was that there was some noise at night that made it hard to sleep.

We stayed 2 nights. We've already decided to stay at this hostel before arrival. As the owner was coincidently waiting at the bus where we arrived, she hired a taxi, which we didn't had to pay for. Stayed 3 nights and had a great experience. Located close to everything you need, grocery store is really close by and option 1 for the breakfasts are always delicious. The staff were super helpful, gave us a map of where everything was and booked tours for us right there that picked us up from the hostel. Internet doesn't really work... More

I stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it! The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the kitchen is clean, the rooms are small but well-kept, and there are so many friendly visitors. Would recommend this to anyone staying in the area, great experience overall!

Freddy is a fantastic host and passionate about the area! He is even out looking for nightlife each night to show the guests! We saw a big sloth in the trees outside the hostel. I spend 2 nights here. It was quite good. No bugs in the room. The mattress was a bit too hard for my liking but that's just my personal preference. Staff is friendly and give a lot of tips. The breakfast could have been a bigger portion instead of just a tiny bit of scrambled egg.
