The first day we ventured out to explore our vacation spot for the week, we stumbled upon this beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant during our stay in December. We were delighted to see how clean it was and quickly approached the bar to order a cold beverage. We noticed they rented boogie boards, so we paid $20 for the "USED"... More

I stayed at this hotel, and they offer breakfast included in the rate. The options you have is only soft pancakes with weird tasting maple syrup or fruit that is it... There are other options but you will have to pay for it. BEWARE that you have to have breakfast early during your stay otherwise they won´t serve you or... More

In two trips to Costa Rica, this is by far my favorite hotel. It's the perfect place for anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy the beach and the weather. Every room faces the beach and you feel like you are almost facing the beach. The beach is picture-perfect, just feet from the front door, almost totally deserted, and... More

The hotel location is very nice and it has a great deal of charm. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the pool area. It was not possible to walk barefoot around the pool due to the overabundance of doghair and iguana poop. The nicest shaded area around the pool under a tree was an iguana toilet and smelled like... Eddie has done a wonderful job recreating the spirit of Costa Rican gracious accommodations on the most magnificent beach, lined with few houses and inns but lots of palm trees. All you hear is the pounding of the surf and waves rolling in. The rooms are very well appointed, air conditioned, well equiped. Bob provided us with custom cooked meals... More

We arrived for our second visit at the Delfin and were welcomed with a hearty "Hi Y'all". The Delfin offers 15 rooms, all with Ocean views and balconys and a lovely pool area surrounded by the lush foilage of Costa Rica. The rooms are superb and are only outdone by the dining room which offers an excellent array of deliciously... More

Didn't actually stay there but found the beach when driving around and it was one of the better ones we found in the area. Quiet, nice , undertows but swimable. Drove up and spent the day and used the facilities and bar at the hotel. Everyone very pleasant, showed us around and let us see the rooms. Went back the... More

We accidently came upon Hotel Delfin and couldn't have been more estatic. The hotel is directly on a huge secluded beach perfect for walking, tanning, or boogie boarding. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The pool is large and welcoming. The breakfast was filling and delicious. My kids enjoyed their German Shepard named Sasha who would follow them out... More
