We try to stay here on every trip we make to the pacific coast of Costa Rica. This trip was once again great. Food, service, location......everything. You are really missing a gem of a hotel if you do not stay here. The FOOD IS OFF THE HOOK!

Looking for a one night stay on the way southwards, but away from tourist traps of Quepos and Jaco, we chanced upon this lovely homely but elegant stopover. Beautiful surroundings, unspoilt and almost empty Playa del Seco, lovely gardens and swimming pool around the hotel, Comfortable and elegantly styled rooms and an unforgettable fish dinner - the best during our... This hotel deserves the best reviews only! Peaceful and quiet setting, just steps away from the neverending sandy beach. The rooms are very clean and very nice and detailoriented furnished. Elisabeth and Bernand are wonderful and very caring hosts, they give you the feeling of family. Don´t miss to order the dinner, it is just delicious and I am still... More

This "off the tourist path" small hotel is wonderful. Difficult to say which is better : Isabeth's talent in furnishing the rooms or Bernard's excellent cuisine - both complement each other wonderfully : making this small Band B definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed the time we spent here and heartily recommend this hotel for people who love relaxation coupled... More

Absolutely paradise if you are seeking privacy, attentive host and hostess, great french cuisine, and a beautiful location. Always clean guest house and rooms, very well kept grounds, friendly and attentive staff - all make for an awesome getaway. Thank you Bernard and Elisabeth for the most memorable and fabulous week! This place is very unique and I will definitely return to spend more days at such a peaceful setting. The owners are very helpful and friendly adding a french flair to this little boutique hotel. Very recommend to try out the gourmet dinners. True romance.

The location felt a bit strange and remote, even if it is only maybe 10 minutes from Parrita. The hotel setting is nice, the pool is small but nice and refreshing, the beach located right in front, across the dirt road is nice and deserted. The room is small, very basic, no TV which was fine with us, no WiFi... More

You need to be willing to be a little bit out of the way. This is not a mega resort with tons of activities. It is small, unpretentious, with simple but spotlessly clean rooms. But oh my, the food is something else. Bernarde cooks every night and you may choose to eat dinner there or not. I urge you to... More

Elisabeth and Bernard are marvelous hosts. The location is incredible, peaceful and you have a huge beach almost for yourself. The place is remote and quiet. If all you want is to spend quiet time at the beach or by the pool you could just get there by taxi but if you want to explore the area more it is... More

My partner and I left our stress-filled jobs and spent a week at this hotel over the Christmas, 2012 holiday. We wanted to stay in Manuel Antonio but couldn't find reasonably priced lodging. Beso del Viento was a great alternative for us just 30 minutes from Manuel Antonio. With our rental car and a GPS, we found the hotel within... More
