I went to Sananwan Palace with my couple and I was really surprised by this airport hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was bright, clean and spacious and the food at the restaurant was delicious. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the little fitness centre, which are included in the price. The surroundings of the hotel... More

This an airport hotel, very near to Suvarnbhumi Airport. It is not in the city centre of Bangkok, but it's a perfect place if you need to sleep near the airport. It's the third time that I go to this hotel, and I always feel happy: the owners are very friendly and welcoming, they always try to help their guests.... More

I have stayed in this wonderful little hotel about 6 times in the last few years and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a restful few days or longer. The staff are very welcoming and cheery. The rooms are clean, have everything you need and the swimming pool is gorgeous. If you're hungry freshly cooked food can... More

We have stayed here like a dozen of times. This is home away from home. We like the local ambience and the laid back atmosphere at the Sananwan. The pool area is lovely and usually uncrowded. This place attracts visitors from all over the world and it is always interesting to strike up a conversation with other travellers. They all... More

Mary J of Ubud has nailed it. A great little hotel. It's clean with really friendly staff. The owners are full of helpful info and basically fab. The food may not be the quickest but frankly who cares as it tastes great. The neighbourhood is friendly and people seem genuinely happy to see farangs exploring the place. Staying here gives... Very basic accommodation, OK for some backpackers on a tight budget may be but otherwise i do not recommend this place. However, it is clean and cheap and food was Very good. We were kept awake by airplanes overhead, loud aircon and mosquitoes. Now regretting not paying the extra for the Novotel at the airport...

This hotel though not a palace has some excellent qualities. The pool is lovely, being unusually raised up on the first floor creating a refreshing breeze. Dick the owner, has green fingers and has also cleverly created a beautiful garden ambiance, which is supplemented by his laid back sax playing most days. Wilaiwan ,his wife runs the place with a warm,no-nonsense... More

I have lived in Bangkok 6 years now, and this is by far the worts hotel I have stayed. The hotel manager even stole my room deposit of 500bath, because I declined an offer to exted my stay the manager claimed that I had been smoking in the room (but I had most definitly not been smoking in the room)... Anyone familiar with the running of a hotel will appreciate that there have to be certain rules and guests should be clearly notified of them. We are required by the Immigration Department to examine the passports of all non-Thai guests on arrival and note their particulars. Our air-conditioned rooms are strictly non-smoking and guests are informed of this, as well... More

a lovely hotel in quiet Area. The room are clean, the sheet impeccable. The disposition of the different buildings make the admosphere cosy and intimistic. The staff is smily and the lady who manage it, is friendly and funny with a perfect english. Be aware that is far from the center but very near the airport. So if you are... More

I have spent a month in this hotel. I do not like it. I wrote the review in order others will not experience the issues I had there. If you look for a short stay next to the airport - this place is not a best choice: look them up at Google maps and you will see that the shortest... More

It seems obvious that the first sentence of ‘sweetypies‘s ’ complaint explains the inconsistencies in his stories, most of which are patently untrue. Sananwan Palace has a system of room rates and discounts relative to length of stay. These rates are presented to guests on arrival and clearly explained to them. For discounts on longer lengths of stay, guests are... More
