Really lovely, peaceful place to stay. Small number of rooms giving it a very private feel. The rooms are very spacious, clean and bright looking out to the beautiful views of the sea with turtles swimming off the beach. The staff are really friendly and professional. The food is great and reasonably priced compared to some of the beach restaurants... More

Spacious rooms, tasteful decor, lovely staff with really good cooking, terrific spot overlooking the beach. Ideal if you want to get away, be looked after. Views of the sea are delightful, but you can't swim there given the undertow and reef. Beach walks are fine, and there's a bathing beach around 1km walk away

Can't say anything remotely negative about it. Quiet, beautiful, clean, lovely staff, family friendly....even with our crazy 3 year old running around! Quite close to lots of lively areas, but the hotel itself sits on what we experienced to be a very quiet, stunning beach. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

We recently stayed here towards the end of our holiday, and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious and the outdoor bathroom was just lovely. The room was turned down each night, with mosquito coils being lit and a mosquito plug being provided in the room but we couldn't help sitting out on our balcony area after dark... More

The management here were fantastic. The rooms were very large and easily fit our family of 4. The setting was beautiful, the food was outstanding. We wished we could have stayed longer. A great place for couples and families. This is a fabulous place to stay away from the touristy beaches nearby, but are still accessible by a short tuk-tuk... More

We had an amazing time .The staff and management are the standout here the management and staff are so obliging and wanting to help wherever possible they could not have made our stay more pleasant. We were in Sri Lanka for a wedding and had travelled from New Zealand and Australia and could not believe our luck at finding such... More

This was our treat at the end of an amazing three weeks in Sri Lanka, wish we could have stayed longer ! The property is so tranquil & relaxing, and our room was amazing. Waking up to the sound of the Indian ocean was lovely, and pool was always immaculately clean. Food was good & the Management team were great,... More

What a great little boutique hotel! I don't remember the name of our room but it was large and airy, overlooking the pool and with a beautiful outdoor bathroom. The design is very minimal meets sri lankan, lots of wood and slate. The pool is just stunning and the whole Frangipani vibe, laid back cool. There's a tree at the... More

And of course fabulous infinity pool. It would be a little churlish to bemoan not being able to swim in the ocean when you have such a great pool but you are always aware of its powerful presence. Lovely couple who manage Frangipani couldn't be more helpful

This was our first hotel (of six) for 2 week visit to Sri Lanka. Lovely atmosphere, we stayed in Hawksbill family suite. Great outdoor bathrooms. Had a little trouble with the aircon which they went out of their way to fix immediately. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoyed our first of many rice and curries, always the best option, breakfast... More
