Stayed in a double room with a big balcony overlooking the garden. I recommend to take this type of the room (No. 5-6-7 with garden view) because the street and the beach get busy and noisy during the high season, so avoid the sea view room. The food is good and charged a fair price - it is served in... More

Nice place, they speak EN and IT language, staff is very friendly. The best is the beach bar and restaurant where also breakfast is served. Nice garden view from most of the rooms. The hotel is located 2 steps from the beach but still well protected from the street and ocean wave noise.

Booked 4 rooms and only 1 room was in proper condition. All other rooms need serious repairs done. Service was ok but non of us were happy with it. Windows and doors weren't sealed therefore AC cannot control the room temperature. Its an utter waste of energy and electricity too.

I stayed in a twin room which is so big with a balcony. The room is clean and basic. The hotel is just next to the beach and close to lots of nice restaurants. I would recommend for a short stay. I think the restaurant next to the hotel is not owned by the hotel itself as we have in-room... More

We (elderly father and adult daughter) booked a twin room here through a Sri Lankan friend who knows the owner. Deepal (the hotel owner) then emailed us directly and we confirmed the reservation two months in advance for three nights over new year. Upon arrival on 31st December we were told there was no room available and an employee telephoned... More

I stayed 10 nights at Sea View. Tasty breakfast served on the beach - not big portions but enough. I have little own experience of other meals that the kitchen offers. Wine is more expensive than at some other restaurants along the beach. The hotel is at the end of the small road (but still very close to all restaurants... More

This has been the worst place I have ever in Sri Lanka. We ordered three seafood dishes - all came out with human black hairs and a dead flea. Sent food back - came back with a fresh salad - again another human hair!! Do not eat here. Spoke to manager and because we ate the crap tasteless prawns and... More

The room itself was in pretty poor repair and could have done with updating, and the bathroom window couldn't be closed, which meant you had to be careful about Mosquitos at night. The beach was across the road and we could only just see the sea from our balcony. However the room was kept clean, the air con worked and... More

We spent here one night on our trip to south. We liked the room - very spacious, nice balcony. Very close to the beach. But we did not have the hot water sometimes. We asked for the breakfast at 8 and we had not the table ready.
