The Villa is almost on the beach and is mainly a restaurant with 6 rooms. The room (101) we had was small (they are all the same size) and tired, but clean and had all basic necessities (bed, chairs and a bathroom). We stayed here for 6 nights. The staff is absolutely the key to this hotel, as they're all... More

This is a small hotel located right on beach. Stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed the stay. There aren't many rooms here but they offer most things you need. Rooms had a bit of a musty smell but not to bad, beds were comfy and bathroom was fine. Breakfasts were quite nice and other meals served out of the restaurant... More

We stayed at The Villa for two nights. With only six rooms spread over three floors, the place feels very cosy and the staff have plenty of time to take care of you. The large four-poster bed with mosquito net was very romantic. Bathroom was basic but worked. We were offered beach towels when we wanted to go swimming at... More

Large and well furnished rooms with a good hot shower and large bed, plus a beach and sea view. We had a room on the top floor and the vaulted ceiling made the room more spacious. The staff are friendly and efficient and the breakfasts of a good standard. I would recommend, probably the best place on the beach.

I only stayed here for 2 nights until my prefered hotel became available and was quite happy with my stay. I prefer something a bit more upmarket but The Villa was excellent for the price. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated with a comfortable 4 poster bed and chairs. It was basic and not huge but tasteful and... More

My husband and I stayed at this property for 6 nights. We had initially thought to stay one or two, but fell in love with the location. The staff are amazing! With only sickrooms, you never have the feeling of being overwhelmed by other guests. The breakfast is very well done with plenty of food to start the day. Swimming... More

We were lucky enough to visit The Villa with friends. They had been recommended it and what a recommendation! The Villa only has 6 rooms, two per floor on 3 floors. The rooms were spacious and very well appointed with a/c and fans. The quality was every bit as good as the big tourist hotels at a fraction of the... More

Stayed for 1 night after unexpectedly having to leave our original accommodation - had eaten a delicious dinner in the villa the previous night and the manager was very friendly and the customer service from all the lovely staff outstanding. We had a room on the top floor and it was very nice size and clean and the sea views... More

We stayed in Unawatuna a total of 5 days. We had first booked 2 days in another hotel but because it did not have a beach in front we decided to move to this hotel. It was the best decision we made! Location was fantastic! Literally had my breakfast in front of the beach every morning. The staff are very... More

We stayed 3 nights there purely enjoy the location. Room is acceptable, they don't have fancy facilities, everything inside the room is antique, clean. For the local rate we couldn't demanding for more, just your room has no balcony we need to stay at the public corridor to check the sea, also there are no amenities in the room. Many... More
