Didn't stay here but we ate here 5 nights out of our 8 - and most lunches too! Food is simple but excellent. Prawns were wonderful whether grilled or fried. And the salad is to die for! Great chill out place too with wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

Perfect location right on the quit part of the beach, undisturbed view of the breaking waves, friendly people, laid back atmosphere, great curry (Mamas homemade) and the best banana fritters on the island (with chocolate ice cream). Stayed next door, but came to Rathna to hang out. Oh, and good caipirinhas, too :-)

We were lucky enough to be staying in this area for 5 nights and ended up eating at Rathna for 3 of those nights. Slightly more laid back than The more popular hangout Wyjia beach (although their pizzas are good especially if you have kids). Service and food at Rathna is very good especially the jumbo prawns served with a... More

Really nice place for a beer and a swim. We didn't stay here but plenty people did. The wave is a consistent right off the rocks which produces waves around 2-3 foot and looked super fun! Didn't surf cause my back was buggered but chatted a lot with the two brothers who run the place. Such nice guys and also... More

We stayed in the beachfront Cabana and really loved it. It was the perfect place for a really relaxed time as well as chatting with the other guest and the very nice family, who takes care for the guests every time. We loved to relax on our big veranda in the morning watching the lokal surfers and join them in... More

The room was not clean. The bathroom is quite new. The bed had broken and old sheets. The bungalow's terrace was also dirty. Overall I had the impression that there is no care about maintainig the guesthouse nice. A big pity because the location is nice and with small effort the guest house could be much better. Regarding the rate... More

This small, family-run guesthouse is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Home-cooked excellent food at any time of day, friendly service from Pushpa, Kasun and the rest of the family and a beautiful beach. Also a great place for turtle watching. I have been visiting for the last 4 years and always had a great time.

We stayed with Pushba and Kasoen 4 nights which was very good. All of the personnel was really nice people but specially the mother and her son Kasoen (which is the manager) do everything to make you feel at home. When we were there also one of the sons living in Germany was over with his wife and child for... More
