We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it immensely. The lodge is set on the banks of the Nile filled with hippos and overlooks islands where elephants visit during the day. We stayed in a tent with a thatched roof. The bathroom was out of the tent but it was private and under the thatched roof adjoined to the... More

We stayed here for two nights in December, 2015. Although we arrived later in the evening, they had a delicious three course dinner waiting for us (and very cold gin and tonics, which were just the perfect after 10 hours on the road from Fort Portal)! We always stay in our own tent, but then are lazy - eating at... More

Loved my stay here. Perfect choice for a quirkier Safari experience. I stayed in a thatched tent and found that our group was greeted as soon as we had arrived with fresh fruit juice. We were then escorted to our tents and our luggage carried as well. Tent was out together very well and was spacious and comfortable. Also had... More

We went in a group of 10 and stayed 26th and 27th of October. We were looked after by the manager and his wife very well. The food was excellent and when we decided to leave early we were also given a packed lunch. Our first holiday in Uganda and it became a memorable one with such hospitality. A very... More

Friendly people, who do try hard, but at $140 per person per night it is significantly over-priced (because of a lack of competition). The family cottage is better value, but tents are definitely over-priced. Pathways from each tent were long, muddy and inadequately lit in bad weather. It's located just outside the Park, but hippos did come right up to... More

Dear Henry D, Thank you for your review. You are certainly right, it’s not easy to run a lodge in Uganda that is situated within the bush and in sight of DRC. We are over 100km away from any mains electricity so every element of the lodge is powered by solar. We also chose to limit wifi to the pool... More

We met the young Management couple , Chris and Astrid soon after arrival and went on to spend much quality time with them as they too are delightful , helpful ,... More

I really loved my sleep, until i was bitten by a centipede, totally harmless but scary to say the least. Security was there in a flash when i called... More

I only stayed here one night with a party of 10 but we had the most amazing experience in every way. The welcome was second to none even though we arrived after 8pm at night, the food on arrival was a superb BBQ of the highest quality and the wooden lodges that slept 3 were utter luxury. I'm diffinately coming... More
