We stayed at Cresta Mowana the first night (just up the road) and liked Chobe Safari Lodge much better and it was much more affordable. The rooms were bigger and nicer. I liked the grounds better too, a bar area with a great view and a nice pool and big reception area with lots of couches to hang out on... More

Our party of 11 (including 5 kids) stayed one night at Chobe Safari Lodge last week. We had three triple rooms in the hotel. On arrival we were struck by the amazing view from the reception area. The lodge overlooks a picturesque Nile River, and is build into the side of a ridge. This meant up/down hiking to and from... More

We stayed there for one night only but all of us wanted to add another one. due to car issues we had to leave sooner than we wanted. a great place, most likely on of the best on this planet. the pools are huge and well maintained. great jumps from the 2nd into the first pool. so we'll definitely go... We've been to Chobe Safari Lodge a few times now and it's always been very good, but we've been delighted to see the further improvements under new General Manager George since he joined 8 months ago. The staff are particularly motivated, happy, professional and courteous. It feels like an ideal team has been assembled, each person effective in their role,... More

Quite a Beautiful Lodge. Wonderful People and Lovely Rooms. Was there with my family. The Hippos, The Primates, The warthogs freely roaming at the river banks and into the Facility compound is just special but a little scary when with the family. We loved it, the Kids especially. The Game Drive,The Falls and all the activities just make the place... More

We drove to Chobe in mid-October of 2014. All the way there our driver told us delightedly how beautiful Chobe was. He said it was his favorite place in Uganda. We honestly wondered how it could live up to the hype. But when we got there, we understood. The beauty and the peace at Chobe slips into your soul and... More

Granted it was the Christmas weekend but we were a little disappointed with aspects of the lodge. Firstly there is not a lot of game viewing around the lodge because the bush is really dense- you see much more on your way from Paraa lodge. The organisation in the restaurant was not great. Despite booking 7 months ago- as a... More

This was my third visit in five years and I was not disappointed. I was traveling with a group of 8 – and we were the only overnight visitors for both nights we were there. What an amazing treat – as the lodge was at full capacity on both my previous visits. None of the amenities were pared down for... More

Chobe lodge is beautifully situated above the meandering Nile river, but compared to other similar lodges in Uganda, definitely overpriced for the modest "charm" of its hotel rooms and the fringed deckchairs at the not-so-clean pool-scape. Some of its rooms offer very limited views of the otherwise great vista, and are therefore not worth the $300 plus for a double... More

Located in the middle of Murchison Falls National Park and along River Nile, this Safari lodge is perfect for holiday. We stayed in this hotel and the staff were fantastic, the food was great and the whole atmosphere is incredible.First World Tours recommended this hotel for us and all our specific needs were fully met.
