Quite a Beautiful Lodge. Wonderful People and Lovely Rooms. Was there with my family. The Hippos, The Primates, The warthogs freely roaming at the river banks and into the Facility compound is just special but a little scary when with the family. We loved it, the Kids especially. The Game Drive,The Falls and all the activities just make the place... More

We drove to Chobe in mid-October of 2014. All the way there our driver told us delightedly how beautiful Chobe was. He said it was his favorite place in Uganda. We honestly wondered how it could live up to the hype. But when we got there, we understood. The beauty and the peace at Chobe slips into your soul and... More

Granted it was the Christmas weekend but we were a little disappointed with aspects of the lodge. Firstly there is not a lot of game viewing around the lodge because the bush is really dense- you see much more on your way from Paraa lodge. The organisation in the restaurant was not great. Despite booking 7 months ago- as a... More

This was my third visit in five years and I was not disappointed. I was traveling with a group of 8 – and we were the only overnight visitors for both nights we were there. What an amazing treat – as the lodge was at full capacity on both my previous visits. None of the amenities were pared down for... More

Chobe lodge is beautifully situated above the meandering Nile river, but compared to other similar lodges in Uganda, definitely overpriced for the modest "charm" of its hotel rooms and the fringed deckchairs at the not-so-clean pool-scape. Some of its rooms offer very limited views of the otherwise great vista, and are therefore not worth the $300 plus for a double... More

Located in the middle of Murchison Falls National Park and along River Nile, this Safari lodge is perfect for holiday. We stayed in this hotel and the staff were fantastic, the food was great and the whole atmosphere is incredible.First World Tours recommended this hotel for us and all our specific needs were fully met.

We stayed in the 'standard' tents for one night on a 16-day Uganda safari. Nothing standard about them--luxurious canvas safari tents overlooking a beautiful, island dotted stretch of rapids on the Nile. We wished we had stayed longer. The main building was lovely, service personable and attentive, food good (but not gourmet). Animal stars here are hippos and waterfowl. If... More

Perfect location, beautiful setting with amazing sun-sets. The pool area is great and the rooms were satisfactory - not perfect. We had a family suite, but no fridge and we were not given drinking water - which could only be bought at the bar/restaurant. Service was not consistently good - for a "luxury" hotel. The food was average and the... More

wonderful location, not too far from KLA, spectacular pools. as mentioned by others, the amount of animals to see is not too high. Beside that, if you want to go to Murchinson Falls it's a long drive...

I have been working in Uganda for nearly a year, when I travel I usually stay in budget hotels ..... being able to watch hippo, warthog, water buffalo & various birds while having a 4 course lunch was a lovely touch of luxury that I have missed. The service was polite, attentive but not overpowering except on one minor occasion... More
