We just had the displeasure of spending three overpriced nights over the new Queens birthday weekend at this place. Our kids were being constantly being told by staff that they were not allowed to play in the campsite and that their noise levels were too loud (during the middle of the day I might add). One of our companions, a... More

This is a response to Duncan R First of all we have park rules that all children under 12 have to be supervised at all times in the park, toilets and camp kitchen and aslo to keep the noise down as we have other people to consider in the park . The first night they arrived i had to ask one... More

We have just spent the last 10 days at Gemseekers & the owners Terry & Vicki couldn't be more obliging to their customers. Every day when they were cleaning the rooms there would be a friendly chat to see if everything was okay. As our clock must be different to the ones who said that they should be in bed... More

We have just spent 3 nights at Gemseekers CP, undoubtedly the three worst nights on any of our holidays EVER! Terry was consistently unhelpful & rude to us, but friendly to those without kids. Every time Terry spoke to me he complained about my childrens' behaviour, although they were not misbehaving. He even locked us out of the amenities -... More

If you are wanting a vacation away with your family (children included) Gemseekers IS NOT RECOMMENDED. The owners of Gemseekers are very rude and unwelcoming especially when there are children. If you do stay at Gemseekers with children be aware that you will probably have to go to SLEEP at 7pm or be aware that you may have very unwelcoming... More

Staff very unpleasant. Not a great place to stay if you have children. For the price of the accommodation you should be allowed to talk after dark. I would not recommend to any of my friends or family to go for a vacation. Rooms however are overall good.

Just had 10 days at Gemseekers, our second visit in two years. Spotlessly clean amenities and park. Very pleasant atmosphere with friendly and obliging owners. Congratulations to Terry and Vicki on your recent award. David and Janet

Recently stayed at Gemseekers after reading the reviews here on Trip Advisor. I must say we were extremley disappointed in our experience. We were travelling with friends and after making a booking back in March (knowing that Winter is the peak season), were lost for words when we discovered upon arrival that we were not placed on adjoining sites. No... More

Friendly, helpful owners and so clean. Whatever you need the owners are there to provide it - directions to the pub, fossicking gear (for a mere $2 a day), clues on where to dig plus a story or 2 thrown in about "cutters". Could not reccommend this place highly enough. Loved it, will be back.
