We traveled as a group of 12 and required a mix of family cabins, doubles and a van site. The cabins were all located near one another and the van site nearby. We had a lovely stop here and found the standard of accommodation to be one of the best on our trip out west. Would definitely return again.

We stayed in this park as a friend happened to be staying there. It was "interesting" from the start. We pulled in just after 6.30pm so it was dark and the office was closed. I pulled up in front of the office with the van on the back, left the engine running and went up and pressed the Unattended button.... More

I have stayed at this beautiful park three times now. Each time from the moment i arrived i felt very welcome and relaxed. How very clean, comfortable, and well equipped the cabins are, especially the confortable bed and pillows. The park itself is beautifully maintained with a nice camp kitchen and wonderful pool. Great location, so close to the main... More

We spent 2 nights here, we would have stayed another night but just found the park very run down. Lawn in Caravan Park not mowed, so at night you had to be careful you didn't walk on a toad in the long grass. Too many signs with "DO Not" and certainly didn't like to be told not to use our... More

On our trip to western Queensland we stopped for the night in Rubyvale. From the phone call to book our cabin to arriving after hours (with a courtesy call to the van park to advise such), we received friendly service. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us and sooooo clean! The grounds are kept beautifully... More

Concrete annexe slabs, a nice pool, a great camp kitchen, a good laundry and a clean amenities block. Coded lock entry to the amenities block is a bit of a pain, but manageable. Lots of rainbow lorikeets around the park. Bossy, cheerful little birds! Staff were friendly and cheerful. We had dinner in the camp kitchen, which is stocked with... More

Can not find fault with this park. Grounds are well kept and amenities are clean. The pool was most welcome as the temp reached 42 degrees. We had a lovely site backing onto a paddock and a dry creek bed....had some curious cows come and visit us each day which was fun. Across the road from the air conditioned pub... More

We stayed for two nights on a powered tent site. The park is lovely, with lots of shaded spots, and situated right in town. The managers were friendly and helpful, and able to offer advice about the good fossicking sites around town. The amenities are clean and the shower rooms had a lot more space than others I've used. The... More

Great location to feed the local rainbow lorikeets and kookaburras, close to everything Rubyvale has to offer. Terrible lady in reception, not friendly and absolutely stank of cigarettes. The amenities have no power points for hair dryers and if you have a weak bladder the stupid long pin code you get for the outdated shower/toilet block will almost certainly make... More

I wasn't expecting much but was delighted to find how clean and comfortable the on-site caravan turned out to be. Probably the cleanest we've ever stayed in. Very convenient to everything in the small town. Rubyvale turned out to be one of my favorite places during our several week tour of Australia. It's a lovely area.
