I have stayed in this hotel a couple times this summer. I have found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. The front desk was particularly helpful when I needed some assistance for an elderly relative traveling with me. The continental breakfast served in the lobby was adequate but could be improved a bit. I was also impressed with the... More

We stayed at the Granite Town Hotel for one night in early August. Even though they advertise a 3 1/2 star rating it is barely a 2. There is NO restaurant or patio bar and grill and apparently has not been for several years! Every 2nd light in the hall has no bulb in it - an effort to save... More

First of all, like to express thanks for staying and trip advising ,also apologizing any inconveniences while staying at this hotel. For clients references, last 2 years total renovations were done by end April 2013 like as new mattress, bedding, airconditioner and heater, carpets, window, window dressing, painting, public bathroom and tyles on lobby area ,etc.H'ever details are still renovated continuously without stoppage. Restaurant and patio bar were... More

This is a nice hotel set back from the road. Expansive grounds to let kids run around and burn off steam or walk your dog. We saw a few patrons coming and going from the hotel with pets. There are only a couple places to stay in St. George and this one is hotel type and the other a motel... More

This hotel is close to St. Andrews and its rates are reasonable. The staff at the desk is very helpful and the atmosphere is pleasant. The large grounds around the hotel contribute to the 'vacation' feeling.

We hbooked several rooms for family and friends visitinf for our daughters wedding. The service was good, the rooms were immaculate. The beds, omg they were so comfortable, best nights sleep I ever had at a hotel.

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay. It is in a nice quiet town about 2 1/2 hours from the Maine/Canadian border where we needed to rest. Property is lovely and desk staff were friendly. Breakfast is basic, some cereal, tea, coffee and yogurt. There is a bakery in the downtown area called Leu Market and they... More

Recently stayed at the Granite Town Hotel, on our way to Campobello Island and St. Andrews. We realized the ferry connection to Deer Island (and onward to Campobello) was closer to St. George, so we chose to stay there instead of in St. Andrews. The property is lovely, as you drive up the long driveway, the lawn is beautifully manicured... More

Stayed here recently and found it to be very pleasant. Room and lobby areas were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was basic but fresh. Would definitely recommend this hotel. A great place to stay away from congested larger areas.

Stayed here on business for a couple of days. The place is close to the highway and handy to all amenities, St George is a small town, everything is close. The rate is fair. I was greeted by a cheery young lady (sorry, didn't get name, she was a young blonde lady) who went out of her way to make... More

On our way back from Nova Scotia we found this lovely family run hotel. It had all the amenities including very fast internet. Continental breakfast was limited but perfect for getting up early and either heading north or south. Very nice stay!
